Is there an "The Avatar" manga?

Yeah since it was made by Americans I don't think they'll have a manga release but you can hope.

I found the Avatar very entertaining.

I have seen quite a lot of anime, and Avatar can compare with the best of them. It's not "dumb".

For one, it didn't make me feel embarassed. Not for watching it, not for the people who made it. That icky feeling that some anime can..have...

Well.
No manga, I don't think.
Unless they make a manga for the anime-cartoon.
Which does happen sometimes.

Avatar - The Last Airbender is a American Anime. It is not even japanese and there is not manga for it. But the episodes are quite good though.

I like it just because of the consept and the marshal arts. If they made a manga that would be sweet. it actually good for an american anime.

There is no manga for the Avatar it is an english Anime which tell the story of Aang the reincarnated avatar the story is like this.

Long ago the world was divided into 4 nations, each nation had the power to bend/control an element Air, Water, Earth and Fire. The nations are watched over by the Avatar a being that reincarnates itself through each nation and has the inborn power to bend all 4 elements.

One day the fire nation attempted to conquer the world and defeat the other 3 nations by using a comet that increased their fire bending power while it passed the planet.

The Avatar was called upon to help but recently reincarnated to the Air Nation and still a child he vanished. The Fire Lord searched for the avatar and to make sure of the avatar's death killed any and all Air Benders found.

100 years later two children from a Water bending tribe found an Air bender named Aang frozen in ice. Realizing that Aang was the Avatar they all set out on a quest for Aang to master all the Avatar skills and defeat the Fire Lord before the comet once again passes the planet and the fire nation defeats the remaining oposition to their rule.

You can watch this at Nickelodeon. I get it at weekends 10 a.m. I like this because it is funny without being ridiculous, has action without being bloody and gives moral lessons.

i watched the avatar on nick and i liked it. if it gets popular, they might make a comic about it.

i doubt that there is one and i think its an american based show since its on nick but i could be wrong. Although i havent seen avatar manga in stores

I think the avatar is the best american "anime" so far, since it's american i don't think they're making a manga from it..well unless it gets popular..
