Spike & Faye vs Mirielle & Kirika RULES PG ONE

First of all, nicely written. Good job and a blessed effort =)

I vote for Faye and Spike.
The fight between Mirielle and Faye could go either way at the situation they were left in. Both were hurt during the physical struggle. Mirielle's uppercut and elbow thrust, seemed to have made Faye take some serious damage, while Faye's comeback, utilising a coat rack seemed to have delivered some serious damage as well. I'd say that judging from the side it seems impossible to decide the winner of that struggle right now, so we'll live it as a tie.

As for the 2nd fight, that as well is a close call. It is obvious Spike currently has an advantage, remaining unhurt while Kirika's arm was hurt by a bullet. However, never underestimate Kirika! She is a deadly, lethal, trained enough assassin to still operate on 95% from one bullet wound in her arm. Given any other opponent, I'd still bet on Kirika. However, Spike Spiegel is indeed one of the deadliest fighters ever introduced in a series! He surely has brains, and is amazingly accurate and deadly with a gun in hand. Given the current situation, in which Spike already got himself a real advantage, I'd bet he's the one to win this fight. He has senses of a killer trained enough to make Kirika's surprise attack fail.

Even though spike and faye disagree on just about everything they would still pull through for the win. Besides the only person that can defeat spike is viscous so there you have it.

i dont know, the most focused spike will get during a fight is when he is fighting visicous. hed never be that focused otherwise.

mirielle and kirika. ive never seen them mess up, whereas in rare occasions, faye and spike have gotton lazy and screwed up.

but if faye and spike were properly motivated.....

i still go for kirika and mirielle.

also kirika kicks ass at hand to hand combat. not to put down spike, but i think kirika is a bit more- creative.

this is funny lol. They are tied 3 to 3 at the moment technically. I specifically posted in the rules portion that the vote will only be counted if there was an accompaning post defending your stance. so far most of the Spike and Faye votes dont count because they either dont have a post or the post is weak.

since its still tied, I am extending the deadline for battle to November 19th.

EDIT: Okay..... I guess I cant extend the poll. Edit didnt work, so I guess the fight ends in a draw. I didnt expect this.... so I will reply later when I figure something out.

This poll turned out like I thought it would. People just vote for Spike and Faye without considering actual skill and emotion. *sigh* Im not saying they cant win, but dont vote for your favorite characters blindly either.

Well I pick Spike and fey to win this match. First Spike knows when he is in a series situation, and will more then likely figure it out when a 16 year old girl punches him in the face like a profesional boxer. That and he will kill when provoked to he doesn't like to but he has and probably will since he refuses to die untill he settles the score with Vicious. Oh and that whole syndicate thing don't forget he was kind of a hitman himself!

Fey will just run away hide bite scrath whatever till spike comes, and saves her ass like always. Mirielle has probably never faced a lady like Fey before and will be suprised by her tenacioty to live, and fey and spike vs just her should be pretty one sided.

Okay I rewatched a couple Noir episodes just to refresh my memory on what Kirika is capable of. We all know when it comes straight down to it, it's going to be one on one with Spike and Kirika in the end.

Well, right now, Kirika certainly has the handicap with the injured arm. But if there's one thing that I do know, it's that Kirika is quite resourceful. She'll use anything and everything in her environment to get the job done.

Then you have Spike. Carefree, relaxed bounty hunter. He's had just as much experience killing people as Kirika has. Being part of the Red Dragon Syndicate is no joke and is certainly on par with a team like Noir. And contrary to what some people think here, Spike is capable of and has killed minors before (Sympathy For the Devil). If they threaten him in any way, you know he is willing and able to defend himself. His laziness tends to throw people off. He has just as much determination to complete his task as Kirika. Also, it's a known fact that Spike just doesn't seem to want to die. He's been shot countless times, fallen out of a building or two, fallen from a speeding train, had things explode on him and he still comes back for more. The dude is like a cockroach. He'll just get up, smile and keep on coming back for more.

The fact that Kirika is a teenage girl won't change anything. Spike usually has his guard up, even when acting nonchalant. When it all comes down to it, Spike should be able to dispatch and injured Kirika. I believe he could even take out Kirika when she hasn't been shot.

So, I'll go with Spike and Faye on this one.

Watch, Mirielle is going to get the head shot on Faye and then shoot Spike from behind while he's fighting Kirika. Whatever it takes to get it done. =P

EDIT: By the way, where's Jet and Ed in all this? You know Spike and Faye ALWAYS get support from those two whether it's the information on the bounty or just there to say a joke or two.
