Hmm... The last two episodes just came out.

Seems like a pretty lackluster ending as for as the action's concerned... There were better action sequences scattered throughout the series than this one which is supposed to be the final confrontation... Especially the ending of the first half, the one in Hong Kong. And to top it off no one even dies, not even an ass like Joker. Also there are some questions left in the end...

But I guess the big happy ending can be a bit original... It's been a while since we've gotten a big super duper happy ending like this one after all... Confused

But overall it's a fine series I think... It ties into the OVA very nicely and the time it spent on character development is pretty amazing (so amazing that it might be a bit too much). And the action is pretty cool as far as paper-using action is concern... Plus it got extremely addicting even though it falters a bit toward the end.

I guess this would be the end of the saga though now that Gentleman is officially gone... but I wouldn't dismiss the fact that there will be more.

My impression on this series:

medicore... the ending was like what darkhunger says kinda an anticlimax happy ending back to normal considering the stuff the entire world went through. I'm curious as what happened to Joker though since his daze is gone.

The series fits nicely in with the OAV series but... execution wasn't as nicely done.

Time to write those reviews =)

i thought yomiko was rather useless towards the end... was kind of hoping she would go bersek.

Joker: what are u gonna do? i will rebuild the machines from scratch.

haha yeah right... as for joker near the end: i think he probably went off to persue his dream once again, somehow try to piece gentleman back from thin air literally. and wendy just went after him ...

I liked the serise and how it tied into the movie.

All in all I would have liked to seen more of their casual life

i thought everthing about the series was just fine. The ending was what it was and the people were all interesting and well worked. Its one of my more liked series but to tell the truth i never saw the OAV that started it all. I wish i couldve b4 the series but it didnt help or hurt it as far as i know.

the ova had a totally different focus than the tv series. personally i liked them both a lot and rod is one of my favorite series because its paced pretty well (i cant handle stories that end too quickly or dawdle for no reason).

I LOVED ANITA-CHAN! I think that she made up for any shortcomings the series may have had, and then some. I wish they showed more of her at school and especially with Hisa-chan developing their friendship. I thought it was sooo cute!
