This thread is for those who are studying Japanese, but still aren't very good at it to practice their Japanese on each other. People who are fluent in Japanese can post here also, but this thread should only have posts in Japanese (with English translation, thanks) with ONE exception.

If you are looking to learn something, or gently correct someone's Japanese, you can post in English. Obviously there is no guarantee that any of us will know, unless we do get a fluent speaker here.

wow u guys speak japanese, great!. im a japanese but i cant speak fluently. i grew up in philippines that's y i dnt understand japanese that much. ryt now im studying at university, its kinda hard though ill do my best. lets practice nihonggo!

anata tachi - you guys!/they (ur self is not included)
ano hito - that person
minna - everybody
kore - this

kono - this

kanojyo - she, girlfriend
kare/kareshi - he, boyfriend
i thought it my help u guys, so i write some words..

kore,sore,are are demonstratives.
kore refers to a thing near the speaker, sore refers to a thing near the listener. are refers to a thing far from the speaker nd the listener.
ex. sore wa jisho desuka? Is that dictionary

kono,sono,ano modify nouns.
ex. kono hon wa watashi no desu. this book is mine
ano hito wa donata desuka. who is that person

I'm happy. Many people find this thread interesting and fun. I didn't think that many people would come and post here. Everyone can speak Japanese well. You guys are better speakers than me.

(Man...I've forgotten all the simple stuff, which makes my Japanese sound really awkward. I'm glad Sakuraglory came around, since it was her who indirectly inspired me to start a thread like this.

japanese has many tenses example eat. eating, did not eat,ate,did not ate. in english its different. but if u study u can understand it. the important is u should memories every word. first everybody introduce urself in japanese lets start.
