Wai... this is a little amusing isn't it? Ahem... well then, nice to meet you and my name is Yuun. My real name is Tsubasa Sakamoto but rarely used. Anyways, I just learn japanese not long ago and because of that I'm still weak in it. Thus, everyone please take care of me.
================================
I just started my class about a month ago with only a class of 2 hours in a week. Henceforth... my progress is a little too slow >.< even now I just start to learn how to make sentences and learn the grammers. With only the knowledge on how to read Hiragana and totally have no idea how to read katakana and Kanji isn't making my life any easier...
If there's any mistakes above... plz at all cost tell me so i can further improve myself. I know that I've used some words that is not suitable for the sentences but I have no idea how to really write in full sentences. Just learn how to read not long ago >.<
でも、ゆうんさんの名前。。。君の家族は日本から来ましたか?
Demo, yuun san no namae... kimi no kazoku wa nihon kara kimashitaka?
But, Yuun san's name... Did your family come from Japan?
Annnyway, no expert, as I've already said, but I think you've left out a few "no"'s here and there, dunno if it actually works without it, but shouldn't there be one in between watashi and namae, also, between watashi and nihongo a bit further down
jeez, the "stupid american" am tring to learn japanese too. I am very slow going and I am kearning just from text based instructions. I need a friggen class.
Does anyone have like cds, or a program for learning japanese that they can E-mail me?

You can set it through your regional settings if you have installed it. I'm not too sure about the details on how to teach you but I bet you can google it out... sorry but I didn't keep the link >.<

anyway Yuun, I don't know if everything that you wrote is correct, but I found a mistake.
The hiragana particle wa, should be written as は and not as わ.
Be carefull with that one.
Oh yes!! Now that you mention!! supposely it was pronounce as "wa" but it was written as "ha". Now I understand why my teacher always write it as "ha" but he pronounce it as "wa" >.<
Thanks for pointing it out sagara... ^^

いいや、 わたしにほんはじゃない, でもわたしおとうさんはにほんじんです~
iiya, watashi nihonjin wa janai, demo watashi otousan wa nihonjin desu~
Nop, I'm not a japanese, but my dad is one~
I'm still having problems with using 'no', 'na', 'to' and all these in making sentences since I just start learning about 3 weeks ago which means 3 classes only. "wa" (は) is rather simple since it usually refer to myself...

Taking classes really helps depending on your interest. Some people i know learn by themself and they actually climb higher than me. I don't really encourage the usages of cds or books since whatever you study through them is not necessary used in the daily conversations.
It's always better to study practically by communicating with others who know japanese. Namely; Japanese from the nets, or Japanese games, or listen to Jap. Songs. And yea... Anime as well...
I played a Japanese MMORPG so I've come to realize that watever I study not necessary be used in the conversations. _________________ [img:800:198:5c85a10b1b]http://img146.imageshack.us/img146/1347/feenasighk3.jpg[/img:5c85a10b1b]

Don't quote me on this, but I think "A no B" = "B of A"
For example, Watashi no namae is Name of mine in English.

I wish i could take a class, but there are none avalible in my area. My school district sucks...[/code]
I have no idea where you live, but I'm almost certain that if you look hard enough, you'll find places that offer Japanese lessons within 1 hour's drive away.

I'm sorry, I was refering to a school class. I do not know wheter or not there are private classes within my area. I live in Richland, WA. You probably don't know where that is, but it's about three hours away from Seattle. It's not a tiny city, we have like 200,000 people here, but there aren't that many businesses like lanuage schools and stuff around here, as far as I know. I hate small cities. Mabey i will look into a class this summer.
