Not that this is really worthy of posting, but I thought that the fact that it took 3 minutes and 20 something seconds (some kid in my class told me to draw something as fast as I could while keeping it detailed) might've counted for something. So here it is.
It's just some random concept. The logo was not part of the time, mind you.

LOL...I can tell you did that during math class......
Yeah it's really good.....I probably wouldn't be able to draw the dood's head in 3 minutes!!
Add more blood and gore.......What is killing him anyway?

looks gory. did his right eye pop out? and his mutilated hand look like it's tickles him  just kidding. pretty good for something drawn for 3 min. & 20 something of a sec. And yeah, what's killing him.

Holy shit, 'pretty good'?
That's damn brilliant for something drawn in 3 minutes+!
The anatomy is good, the hair is great, the composition is kinda cool and the expression is spot on!
Had you worked on it a little more, to clean and sharpen certain parts, a process that should take say around 2 minutes, you could get a really, really great drawing done in a little over 5 minutes.

Heh. Those are supposed to be laser beams. I know they don't really look like them, but since I was rushing...you know. "Akiba" is an Arabic word which means something close to "fantasy". It's a play on the name "Akira" which is what the picture is sort of copying --- The cape, Tetsuo being shot with Kaneda's laser, loss of the arm...
The story I was going for was a person who's an otacon nerd who enter some machine which allows him to enter a VR realm in which he takes part of his favourite animes...but something goes wrong with the machine and the entire experience ends up as a horrific fight for survival.
Heh, as cheesy as it sounds now, I'm still working out the kinks, so...yeah. This particular scene shows him when he's going through the "Akira" part of the simulation --- everyone thinks his mental powers are too strong and they all pick up laser guns to shoot him.

Not pop out, but the blood vessels in the eye itself burst; the eye is internally bleeding. Erm, yeah, it does sound a little too descriptive --- I'm kind of going for something that really can seem like a nightmare if you were to experience what he is going through. The ripped off hand does look a bit funny, yeah. And thanks.

Heh, wow, thanks. I thought I messed up the anatomy, but I guess at this angle, it doesn't seem too bad...
When it comes to pencil work, I smudge a lot. I'm just a lot better with pen, but the problem with that is that I can't erase (not that I erased on this one --- didn't have time to). Oh well.

thats a great job, done in 3 min no less..
if you would like to improve the picture even more... i guess coloring shading, a some pieces of cloth flying in the around his scarf would add a great amount of effect!
his mouth however looks like a puppet, kinda wierd... with the teeth but nothing below.... kinda like a piece of wood attached... or was the jaw ripped of by the lasers... who knows but you... good job anyway...

Heheh, yep. It'll all be clearer once you read the comic in its entirety, though.
It's still under production. I'll post issue 1 when I get it done. If you're interested, look out for it. |
