I love that movie! Tha story, the music, the drawings. The landscapes are really beautiful. And i liked the gods thing too.
Its not only Miyazaki who made the film, its a whole group. Is it called Ghibli?
Cant wait to see Howl's Moving Castle |

| I liked the little black things they had in the movie, dust bunnies? But anyway, Haku is really sweet. =p The plot was really good, my whole family loves it! |

one of my favourite scenes is Chihiro's journey to find evil witch's twin sister and heal Haku. i really liked the idea of underwater train tracks. was the film mostly just eye candy? i dont know. what i do know however is that im a real sucker for eye candy. its definitely not as ambitious as Nausicaa for example but it is more subtle and less instructive. Chihiro is one of my favourite Miyizaki heroines. her characterisation wasnt as blunt (or as powerful maybe) as Nausicaa but she transforms nicely into a responsible person, who is readily thoughful, tolerant and selfless instead of superficial and materalistic

| I am 19 man and i say this anime is some good stuff. Hey while it is about a little girl it still touches many issues that pertain to older audiences. You can go back to when you where young and imagine yourself in the worl depicted in spirited away. It is a journey to greater maturity. The character begins anew and gets lost in the way but after a distractions finds the way back. Yeah i almost cried so what. |

| I agree with everyone. This is definately a great anime to start out with. It allows you to get in touch with your inner child while at the same time giving you a glimpse into the japanese culture and artform. (please forgive my poor spelling skills) |

| I think it's a good intro to anime for someone who hasn't seen it before, and really cute and cuddly and all, but I couldn't say it was my favorite anime movie. Though the English voices are.. well.. really bad. |

It was a great movie kind of what you might call a family favorite. I've seen it about 10 and it was the best movie I had ever seen, but recently I saw a movie I thought was better called Princess Mononoke
P.S. If you don't know TCM is showing movies by Miyazaki every Thursday night. |

| I love this movie!!!! Its so great! But almost anything this director does is great. Ilove all his work, he's got a nack for the just-cute-enough/just- serious-enough movies. I really love the ending about the river(I wont explain because its a spoiler!) anyway love this movie soooo much! |
