Anime Drawing Types

shuichi shigeno's style (initial D) would be perfect for something realistic; so would tohru fujisawa's (GTO). if it was for something out-of-this-world, then perhaps akira toriyama's and rumiko takahashi's will do nicely

i havnt seen a style so far that i havnt liked. i enjoy the storys to much to worry about art style. but still i've like all the styles ive seen so far. its nice to have different styles. one of my favorites though is the style in Requim from the Darkness. i wouldnt want all anime or any other anime for that matter to be drawn in that style but i just liked it cause of how different it was and it fit the story well.

Hoshino Katsura's style might suit you. He is the mangaka for D-Gray Man.

I think a moderate drawing style is the best by far, no exaggerations, eg. no oversized boobs, no hulking big muscular bodies, no super big eyes and such. Moderation makes it look more realistic.
