In paint? wow, thats a great piece of work... the coloring an shadings are great! i prefer the left one though... the right looks wierd with the extra piece at the right of it.
cheers,

Awesomeness. Your skills concerning mobile suits are amazing. Keep up the good work, Taka.
(PS. What happened to that whole group comic project we were planning?) |

Thanks guys. I didn't expect people to like it much since it was done in such a low level program. I guess mobile suits really are my specialty. Maybe I can find a way to edit this in Photoshop. I'm having a bit of trouble with Photoshop at the moment. I can't seem to get the hang of this program. I spent 5 hours on this one picture using the pen tool, and I didn't know that I was supposed to create a vector mask so I saved it and exited it. When I came back the next day...my page was blank...

Sorry about that. School work has been getting in my way. I have a three-day weekend this week so I'm starting on the first page of the comic right now. It is just a basic layout with rough sketches and no detail. I'll post it up when I'm done then we can see what needs to be done. Please check it out later everybody. And again thanks for the replies guys.
btw [jiashore] that thing on his right shoulder is supposed to be a shoulder mounted beam cannon. It can be handheld or mounted on his shoulder, but has less movement if it is still mounted. _________________ The hardest person to forgive is yourself~ |

thanks fr telling me, but that laser cannon seems kinda heavy, well, robots are strong too...
and again, just to not go off topic, the drawing's great, using photoshop will make it a whole lot greater.
cheers,

awesome pixel art man, you really have a talent for it. photoshop isnt that bad, try fooling around at good-tutorials.com or pixel2life.com. they will help you get started with photoshop. once you get the hang of it its a cinch. keep the pixel art coming tho, i love it. _________________

Yeah, I hope to redo this in Photoshop when I understand it a bit more. These are also one of my favorite designs so I'll be drawing some more of these guys later too. Thanks [jiashore]

Thank you for the links. I shall try to read them ( I simply cannot read things on the net, they look way too long)And since you said you liked my pixel art here's an old one of mine that I never was able to finish
This too was done in Paint. Took quite a while actually since I didn't have an actually design in my head. The size is the real size, it has not been resized.

A Ceybrum is a special type of Armored Units(mobile suits) much like your everyday Gundam. I came up with the name back in middle school. That reminds, I need to start drawing the Armored Units soon. Thanks [NoyPi]! _________________ The hardest person to forgive is yourself~ |

Actually, paint art is really cool. Usually, the good pieces I see are very sketchy, because it's hard to get perfect lines on paint. But I see you nailed it! My only gripe would be that the proportions are off, but I have no doubt you could get it right with a pencil or a super mouse |
