If you wanna talk weird then I'd say the pot that one of the characters use in Tales of Legendia seems pretty weird. Haven't played it yet since it's not out but still seems weird. Not to mention the keyblade in kingdom hearts, yeah they made it work good but it's still a, key.

the devil arms from tales of symphonia. at first, i didn't even know what the hell they did, considering how much they lower each character's stats...but after defeating abyssion, that all changed

The main character in Red Ninja - End of Honor for PS2 uses a wire as her weapon. She was left to die after being strung up by her neck in a wire by the yakuza or whatever, and then she manages to survive. Now she hunts them down and kills them with the same wire.

Millia Rage (sp?) in Guilty Gear uses her hair.

Although it is not technically a weapon, you could use the flares in Descent to kill enemy robots. Of course, it would take you a long time to kill even the weakest of them using flares only.

A pretty Bizarre weapon was also the "Great Knife" form Silent Hill 2. An oversized knife (NOT a sword) almost as big as your character and so heavy that you actually have to drag it around and only lift it when you're dealing a blow.

And what about the "parrot bombs" from Serious Sam 2?
