How long do you prefer your manga???

somewhere around 200 but after 250 or so I loose interest because I am not gonna wait for the manga T_T it makes me go insane

as long as possible if it can stay good. i hate short anime because just when u really start liking it, it ends and it leaves u all empty inside tryin to figure out what might happen next. the longer the manga is, the more complex the plot becomes and the more developed the characters become. many times thats why many mangas become good is because the characters are developed to the point that we can identify with them.

Many time longer means better This is also good form manga, if She is longer new plot,characters can appear. But I'am not so rich so I couldn't afford to buy xxx vol. of manga series. So I chosen 51-100 chapters.

i like long manga if it's not always the same situations.I also like my manga's long if they are already completed cauz having to wait for a manga especially very long one's isn't fun.

so generally liking of the length of the manga is dependent
on the quality of the the manga!
so gd mangas should go on and be long as we manga fans can see the development of the characters and how the stroy develops.
short manga's can rock too!if the story is gd y not? but i guess preferably intersting manga's should last longer.
i guess manga like ichigo 100% should be longer i agree coz i wanna see how they develop after they begin working, the problems they each face in their working life or even if things will work outafter nishino & manaka get back again! does sasuki n aya still have feelings for manaka? hmmm
so many points of question. if onli they continued it .
but wat i wanna see in the manga is oso if manaka had chosen toujo or sasuki instead.... like a game where u decide who he will choose!(sorry if u havent read the end. a little spoiler )

This question is very dependent on various factors. It is impossible to say that if a manga is long then it will be good. Also it is just as impossible to say that short mangas will be better. In my general opinion the Manga industry is just that, an industry. Most of these writers and creators are pressured by outside influences in order to get the most mileage and therefore profit from it. In some instances this can drag a story out for much longer than it should. In most short manga's that I've read such as lillim kiss, it is hard to relate to characters since most of the time the character developement is a little premature. So it is certainly a double edged sword no matter which way you look it at it. Generally I do prefer longer manga's because I feel that character developement is key to making any story good, however I do not wish a longer manga at the price of the story line.

I want a series to be in real-time. I want the characters to grow up at the same time as i am. This is just a dream though

It dosen't matter to me if it's long or short... For instance Furi Kuri is very short manga.. but it's short sweet and kinda to the point for those who know what i'm talking about.. and the Inuyasha series for me is just to drawn out.. There really isn't that much more you can do with it.
