How long do you prefer your manga???

I like a good long manga (but dont want to wait for translations). Im a bit picky but if the manga drags on and on i just stop reading it (Death note i didnt like to much cause it just dragged). I love a good long comedy manga the only downside to it is the wait.

yea sometimes i hate waiting for scanlations on really long ones also on licensed stuff wait like 4 months for 1 friggin volume just hate that

Thats a hard one :/ im not really sure. The thing that really annoys me is the kind of mangas that start going much longer than they should, for example naruto kind of seems to be going endlessly and some of the parts seem like they are just there as fills (i.e. naruto and sasuke's rensagen/chidori battle... took up numerous chapters that led to nothing). However FoR which i should think makes it over 250 or at least 200+ chapters is one of my fav mangas. Zombie Powder was too short for me though, even though it was a real nice work it pissed me off how it ended so abruptly

i hate it when i good manga ends so i like good mangas long crappier mangas short. i hope they'ed make ichigo 100% longer... until they finish university atleast.

when i start reading manga......it becomes a part of me, and i hate when it has to end. i mean u get so used to the charcters u feel like there a part of u and then all of a sudden it's over. for example...in the love hina series, even thought it's all about keitaro and naru getting together, thety basically end the series once it happens. i mean, i wanna know what happens

I dont like too short manga's so i would like a good manga to be about 250ch long.

I like long mangas, but only if its interesting.
Short mangas are also OK, but not toooooo short

i dun like long manga, sometimes feel bored, too long
if short, i felt like dont have much conflict..

I love to read manga but I really dislike when they end so fast like lilim kiss... it just published in two volume only.. the best manga is that has nice storyline and not too manya chapters like pretty face and rurouni kenshin... naruto is nice but I hate to wait for ther new scanlation...

I prefer manga that are around 100 chapters. There are a couple of good mangas that are really long, and I don't mind that at all. I just don't like it when a manga needs to drag out its story to where it becomes painful.

I'd say it kinda depends on the story.

I mean, if the author has a clear idea of what the end is, and doesn't want the series to go on without it having any bearing on the finish, then a short manga is fairly good.

However, something revolving around tournaments (like Hikaru no Go) can be so easily expanded and kept consistently interesting by the emergence of either new players or a shift in the character focus.

I gotta say though, so many mangas just keep teasing an end and filling up with actions and stories that they don't really use later, and that kinda bugs me.
