xbox can turn to ps2 or anothe game console in the world
before next gen.
can xbox 360 do like dat thing?

r u talking about turning ur xbox into computer & running emulators on cause ps2 can do the same thing, but for the next gen i think u can do that because no the consoles r turning into comoputers more and more.

they are both created by 2 competitive companies sony and microsoft however i belive that sony is using microsoft's idea or vice versa but if you look at both console specs side to side they look exactly the same except they use different games

I have a friend that can convert the xbox in to backward compatable with the playstation 2 and other consloes before that,
but i don't think that converting the xbox 360 to playstation 3 would be a good idea. PS3 is said to be much more powerful then the xbox 360. how ever, if that would be done, then you would need a PS3 that is HD DVD to play it proper on the Xbox360,

An xbox is able to to play other games through software emulation only, such as Neo Geo, SNES, NES, Atari, Gensis, Turbografix. It is very unlikely you can play ps2 on an xbox through software emulation only. PC's can't even play ps2 games through software emulation. I have heard of a situation in which people modify their a pc case to contain the innards of an xbox and ps2. Yet, these are still 2 separate systems. They are just in 1 box.

This question is just horribly written and makes no logical sense.

Actually, three years ago there was an guy working on a PS2 emulator for PC. The game ran well but not smoothly and the graphics was pretty bad. In the end, it worked. I even downloaded a video when the news came but that video is now gone. I wasn't really intersted in it because it required a DVD-ROM drive which I recently bought only a couple of months ago xD. The demonstration was on Turok: Evolution. That individual may have been working on the group called PCSX2.

There's a retail version of Dreamcast emulator for Xbox, though I've forgotten the name of it. As for Xbox emulators for PC, I have no interest of finding out. I wouldn't be surprised if you found one.

If you visit the PCX2 site it explains that it can boot and enter some games. Yet, it does not actually play games. I"ve seen the videos too, but its not even close to be even playable. I've always keep myself up to date with new emulation projects. In the case of the ps2 emulator, it will undoubtedly happen, but it hasn't reach that point yet, let alone work on an xbox.

If you can prove to me that a PS2 game has actuaully played (at a decent 30fps) on an emulator, then my ideas on ps2 emulation will change. But as what I know now, we haven't reach that point yet. There are many games that boot and start on the PCX2 emulator, yet their fps at are at low 10s or maybe not even close to 1fps. It is a work in progress and has not even reached a playable state.
