| No, my parents have never thrown away any of my reading material whatsoever. I don't even have a real manga collection. I read all of mine on the internet. The only times they get angry when i'm reading is when i'm reading manga on the internet for endless hours a day. |

Did your parents ever get angry with you for buying manga? Did they throw away or burn away your manga? What is their reaction when you read manga?
This are some of the question I to ask.
For me, they were angary with me for buying manga and they called me childish and won't mature for reading manga. They even throw away all my manga when I was 12 years old. The book they throw away are Doraemon and Dragonball. |
I don't buy manga I download it. My parents thinkl I'm DLing porn though. At the age of 12 your parents were probabally fearing thoughts of rebellion. Rebellion can be triggered by almost anything really cause it's a phase. I don't see why a few manga books would matter if you've finished them already. |

| My mom is the one who normally gives me money to buy manga and my dad doesn't care. He watches anime, like i once saw him ghost in the shell and he sometimes watches hentai, yes i heard that from his mouth exactly. And yeah he sometimes randomly buys me manga like just recently he got me a volume of FMA. |

| My parents threw away my dolls, but they would not have dared to touch my precious mangas!! I'm 18 and I still can't live without mangas and animes. Reading manga is not something that belongs to childhood!! My parents disagree with me watching anime, telling me that I'm a cretin and mentally unstable, but I don't listen to them. I can't believe someone would throw away manga...and Dragon Ball?? You must have suffered a lot... |

my parents complain about me buying manga cuz they say its a "waste" of money. but theyve never actually stopped me from buying it tho. They never threw away something of mine w/o asking first.. altho they do lsnoop around my personal stuff w/o my permission... which is VERY annoying. there are some stuff that kids want to keep to themselves and not show their parents ... _________________ °°☆★LucKy Se7en___ |

My parents weren't that fazed... I don't think they really care. But they are trying to encourage me to read more books than just manga. _________________

My mum never really cared much whether or not we read manga, my dad on the other hand never stops nagging myself and my bros. Very annoying. _________________ [img:400:91:5bb4b6d4b6]http://pics-72.hi5.com/userpics/572/714/71459572.img.jpg[/img:5bb4b6d4b6]
