does it count if your uncle taught you at home or at the park?
if so then i studied a little bit of muay thai (thai boxing), didn't learn enough to be really good but i know enough to take on 3 black kids |

man, all you guys do really specialist and exotic sounding martial arts,
i just do karate, been out of it for a while, need to get back in, weak as
its good for exercise and - if you go to the right ones - makes you a better person

i used to practice alot of different martial arts, but the classes were too slow and some styles too strict.. so now im currently experimenting on a style i made myself. its mainly a mix of several styles of boxing and a kung fu influensed jiu jitsu. works out pretty well, i combine dodging and grappling for a swift and effective take down. still very very much left to work on tho _________________ What are you doing man! thats carl! |

I wanna be an awesome karate man like my hero, Chuck Norris!! That way I can become a cop and kick everyone's ass without like a gun or a night stick... or that other stuff like police protocol and back-up.
Wait... what was that?.... you don't think Chuck Norris is a total bad ass?.... I think he heard you think that.... he's pretty pissed right now.... he knows where you live..... I'd be scared if I were you.... start running cause the Chuckster's coming to get you!!! _________________

I used to but because of school I had to quit. Can't say I don't regret it though it was hard. Plus it took time away from my friends and most of them are moving soon. _________________

I used to take traditional Karate for just a number of months, but then I didn't join again after my first payment. I felt like I had no more time and I just quit at a medium-low rank. |

I do but this is my first day here so I'm still kinda shakey on learning how to do things... and some things I don't understand yet, but that will come with time... I practice the Korean Martial Arts TaeKwonDo and I am a brown belt *shrugs* it makes me feel more at peace and is a great way for me to drain negative energy

Sorry, but tai chi is more of an exercise rather than a style of martial arts. You basically do martial art movement in slow motion but with full "mentality and strength". Not exactly sure how well it works or if it works at all. |

I use to a year ago, I was a 3rd kyu in karate, but i quit when i felt that my martial art was holding back my power, so now i just work out on my own and run around with the campus fencing club. _________________ HCl before H20 makes a big bang |
