Signatures
Signatures can be made by going to the Profile area again.
Scroll down to Profile Information and you will see a text box for Signature limited to 255 characters.
- You can use HTML or BBCODE to place images and other stuff in our Signatures.
- Make sure you end each line with a hard break! (i.e. Press "Enter" key at the end of each line)
- Lines should contain text, code or nothing at all. Leaving empty white spaces in a line tends to break the codes.
For size limitation:
The maximum total size for your avatar + signature combo is 250kB.
That means that if your avatar is 200kB, your signature must be 50kB or less. Conversely if you have a 100kB signature, you must choose/upload an avatar that is 150kB or less.
Keep your avatars smaller than or at 150px width
Some of you might like to take advantage of the 250kB max limit to put up beautiful and creative avatars. However if you put up an avatar that is very wide, it will mess up the forums for the forumers on smaller desktop resolutions. So please keep them at a width at or narrower than 150px. Thank you.
A new rule to the sigature is:
ALL MEMBERS MUST MAKE SURE THEIR SIGNATURE IS 100 kb or UNDER.
This rule is to prevent excessive loading times for forums and respect those who do not have broadband connections. Thanks. |

yeah and i am just going to add to this if you found an off site avatar like mine you can save it to your cpu and then go to image shack to upload it once that is done open up a new window in your profile and get the direct link bar and you can put that in the direct link to offsite avatar box
if this is you plz heed my advice

Chikasi, sorry, but mind if I use your topic for a while?
I have a similar question to ask, and it seems redundant to create another topic just for that.
It's stupid, but how do I access to the said 'Profile'?
I went to Account Settings, Your Info, and scrolled down, there was a 'Your Avatar' section. But I can't find the Show Gallery part.
Can anyone help? Please?  |

thongvanh : You have to insert the img tags in front and behind the url, fixed it for you anyway.
aSagi : Look at the top, it's right beside the Usergroups button. Scroll down to the bottom and you should be able to see the Avatar Control Panel. You can select an avatar from A-Source's gallery by clicking Show gallery or use your own avatar by uploading to a free image host server.
