Fate/Stay Night Synopsis & Reviews
I'm sure some of you already know this series.
This anime was the first reason that I watched Tsukihime.
the trailer was pretty good and so are the VA's...I was really looking forward to this Fansub and to the DVD's as well. I'm pretty sure that this started as an "H" dating game on the PC. I'm also a big fan of Saber!
So what do you guys think of this series? _________________

Ohhhh awsome, Kawasumi Ayako is going to do Saber's voice.
I just love Type Moon's characters.
BTW, I don't think it was a "dating" game at all. It did have some of those scenes but it focused heavily on story just like Tsukihime was. I think it was more like game/novel. _________________ [IMG:258:200]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v435/ypark/sigs/3fsn.png[/img] |

If I'm not wrong, I believe this was based off a popular RPG type of game in Japan. Not too sure if it's MMORPG though, but still, looks promising. |

Fate/Stay Night comes from the H-Game of the same name (yes, H-Game) that was been made by Type-Moon. The game already has a sequel out (sequel I think) that goes by the name of fate/hollow atraxia.
Well Type-Moon's game are not so concrentrated on the h-thingy. The storyline is very interesting. And in this one, the fights
Well, the hype is behind this anime. Let's just see if it will be a hit or a miss. _________________ ... |

Amazing...So many animes manifesting literally from games. I never thought the Holy Grail could fit into such a game... |

Yeah, been looking forward to this anime too, ever since I played the game... about a yr ago. Finally the wait is over! The trailer is damn nice too, good drawings, good fightings, and imo, good VAs.
btw, to all those who played the game, I heard that the anime is going to follow the UBW storyline. If that's true,
then we'll see the really cool side of Shirou (and his ... *special* skills ^^")

Well I haven't played the game (really, I did all those process in order to mount them, but to no avail) but , I lurked in wakachan's Type-Moon Board. There is where I found out about Fate/Stay Night and such. _________________ ... |

If I recall correctly, you need to use official patches to patch up the game before using the no-cd patch. That should make it work.
As mistabean said, this site should provide all newbies to Fate/stay night with an introduction of what's going on:
http://www.geocities.com/max3075/fate/index.htm
WARNING: There are actual synopsis of the whole game on the site (although it's not in the link, so it's safe to click on it ^^"), which is divided into three different storylines, Fate, UBW (Unlimited Blade Works) and Heaven Feel. DO NOT READ THEM UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE SEVERELY SPOILED.
EDIT: Ohh oops, I also realised that ppl shouldn't read the character introductions either, since they contains some *minor* spoilers. Just read the intro and grail war rules is good enough for starters.
PS: Raiden, I am a fan of Saber too... especially with her hair down...
*mod edit: harsher warning is needed - bean*

wow...thanks for that link LOL-ness. now I finally know why most of the fan made doujins feature Saber eating A LOT!
I was only able to see the doujins and some 4 panel comics around and they are really fun to read. Especially the "Unlimited Maid Works" doujin _________________

Well then when the show is on though, I think I could leave to you guys to not include any more game spoilers more than this then? (The rules, change "manga" to "game") As it may spoil the enjoyment of those actually haven't played the game. (or read the manga, in other cases) _________________ ... |

LOL...You could've PMed someone or raised this in the help topics...
But anyway, I believe VLC media player is plausible, or DiVX if you prefer... |

Actually, it's an MKV file, so you need to install the Matroska pack from the site. http://www.matroska.org/downloads/windows.html
Download and install the pack. and you can use media player classic to play it. _________________ [IMG:258:200]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v435/ypark/sigs/3fsn.png[/img] |
