wai! wai! Saber gakkoi!
The battle between Shirou and Lancer was pretty cool, even though it was impossible to win, he held up pretty well by himself. That's what I like about Typemoon's main characters, they can fight by themselves unlike other spineless main characters. _________________ [IMG:258:200]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v435/ypark/sigs/3fsn.png[/img]

Let's make a Saber Fan Club...just kidding lol.
In my point of view...Saber is the "perfect" woman if she were real...
btw...Is Caster alone by herself? I really have no idea where she came from unlike the other servants. Does Caster act alone?
EDIT
woooh...20 more minutes and I'll be watching episode 2 soon^^ _________________ PS3 Trophies
No, she has a master. But she is one special case as you will soon see.
Anyway, I thought the music in Ep2 quite match the fighting there, and Lancer is soo creepy ^^". Especially his eyes.
(Holy... we are on page 5 already?!)
Goes to show exactly how popular this anime is.
I like episode 2...A cliffhanger this time, and Shirou will probably be introduced more towards the Holy Grail War hopefully. I was surprised, though, that he had managed to hold out for that period of time against Lancer. Of course, the appearance of Saber as most of us have been waiting for, although she only spoke a few words...But that just makes the next episode more worth watching for. _________________ [IMG:350:100:b32e8a3e97]http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a103/FAITH01/tomoyo1.png[/img:b32e8a3e97]

Hehe... it was a nice thing Shows that this shows has the hype behind it.
Truthfully, I don't know whether those who played the game are so far satisfied with the anime. But I (who didn't play it btw, but kinda knows what happens and such) am so far satisfied with it. The pacing's still fitting for a 24-26 episode, although I don't know whether they are going to mix multiple arcs in it or just follow one storyline _________________ ...

I just watched Ep. 2 and...after seeing Saber for a few seconds since the show was almost over...I overjoyed by her Elegant looks and the way she appeared. One of the things that makes Saber lovable is her Voice when she screams when in fights...(as expected from Mahoro-san^^.
Saber goes with a bang without warning. I'm also waiting to see Rider and why she was given that name... _________________ PS3 Trophies

well, I stick with eclipse, because I quite like what they are doing with Shakugan no Shana. I also DLed both (.mkv versions) and compared, and found that mahou's version is sharper colour/more contrast/whatever you call it, but there are times where the video contrast was so high that it sort of decrease video quality (e.g. blurring some detail out because the surrounding colour is so bright). However, Mahou's subtitles are easier to read. Eclipse's version is paler but the video is clearer. I also like their translation, even though the colour of the text is more difficult to read.
I also compared it with my friends, and found that I (who played the game) prefered Eclipse's version (and they prefer mahou's) because I more or less know all the terms used (like the tatoo, which eclipse did not explain). So, my verdict would be:
If you played the game OR know roughly what it's about OR if you are a sucker for good video quality (that really depends on yourself, but imo eclipse has the better video quality), then choose Eclipse.
If you are a complete newb to Fate/Stay Night or if you didn't read any background information (intro link: http://www.geocities.com/max3075/fate/index.htm ) go for mahou, because they have the explanations.

The fact that Fate/Stay Night is animated already half-satisfied ppl who played the game. As to me, I am also impressed at the animation and how closely it's sticking with Fate/UBW storyline (still can't tell which it will be, since the first few "days" in the game are the same, but my gut instinct tells me it's Fate because they focus on Saber so much ^^")
btw, I think I saw you on eclipse's channel when I went to get ep2 yesterday

Well most of the Type-Moon players is not satisfied with Tsukihime, and I already some complains about the first episode (They were expecting Saber to come in the first episode )
But looks like they are taking it slowly, heck even Saber appeared in the last moments of episode 2 (which was very fitting indeed, to say the least)
And yeah, I am a lurker in eclipse's channel... I am getting two of their works now (Shakugan no Shana and Fate/Stay Night) _________________ ...

i watch the Eclispe fansubs since i watch Shakugan no shana and i thought they did a good job. I really like where the story is going even though its slow paced. I haven't played the game or even know anything about fate/stay night and im still impressed. _________________ [img:250:112:a3991f200c]http://img406.imageshack.us/img406/3880/shufflesig1qq.jpg[/img:a3991f200c]

question:
would reading the synopsis of the game ruin the anime's plot?
Yes, it does, I think... since the sypnosis is based on the game, and the anime is based on the game. Add 2 and 2 together yourself _________________ ...
i have only started watching this series so i can't really comment on it, though after watching the promo and the first episode i must say that it ooks promising hehe

Is it just me or the Xvid and h264 version just the same...
I really can't see their differences. The only difference I saw was the quality of the promo video.
