right now we are learning about weighted averages i wish it wern't so hard (my mind can't handle problems over 5x5 i know sad ain't it that is why "i have my handy dandy notebook" from blues clues don't know why i added that but in my case it is my handy dandy calculator) _________________ Want advice DONT WORK AT WALMART... I'm currently taking a two year power engineering course and the hardest actual math I did would habe been the equivalent of my grade 10 math, and a bit of my 12th grade math. And for someone who i think failed 9th grade math i managed to get 58% in the second hardest math course for my school. The hardest being pre calc, basically prep for university calculus. I heard in that an apple can equal an orange.
Similar to doujo I'm not from the states, but from Alberta. |

Physics is my fav science!! It's the basic laws of the universe!! At the next level of complexity is chemistry. Bio is the most complex.
You can pass physics with flying colours if you just understand it. No memorisation involved. |

pyro>u really think so? for me, chemistry is the hardesr, nest is physics, then lastly, bio.
i just hate the formulas and shit. i guess i never actually understood the lesson. we're already in gravitational forces. it's confusing. i'm not sure which plant's mass to use and i had to memorize their masses, radius and accelration due to gravity for the problems. but still, i didnt get the answer of the test this morning.
man, this sucks. |

Whoa that's pretty advanced shit !! I've studied it on my own and thats like year 11 module. I'll be starting the equivalent of year 11 in 2 weeks. Surprising....The filipino physics syllabus is more advanced than singaporean syllabus.
You have to memorise all those minor details? That doesn't seem very good...Useless facts they are.....The filipino government really should empthasize more on understanding, problem solving and creative thinking.
Just you wait till you get to quantum mechanics...That stuff is CRAZY!! |

Bawahahaha...Filipinos are smart! ...uhm, some are...hahaha
Yeah, I remembered in our last quarter exam where there was a problem about friction. It gave only 2 information, and unbelievably, I got to solve it. T~T damn, it felt good. Then my teacher announced that she took it from a test in Singapore, whic is btw the hard level.
And I was like yipeeeee! Hahaha
I dont really get why we should memorize the stupid masses. It's not like I'd be an astronaut anyway or anything. SHe could have just given us a table during the exam but nooooo. She wanted to challenge us. "Whatever"
Anyway, I was on the last 2 questions and I was wracking my brain off. The hell she only gave the period of the asteroid. I didn't which formula to use cuz many terms were unknown. T~T that felt bed.... |

I just passed my calculus 3 (shit that deals with vector fields and 3D objects), and next semester i'll be taking linear algebra, applications to differencial equations, and discrete structures.
I really hate math though. So why am i taking so much of it? because to become a computer science major at my university you must have about 9 credit hours in the math field from classes that are above calculus 2. _________________ HCl before H20 makes a big bang |
