Yeah I heard that too so hopefully with him, some great game will be make for XBOX360 to attract more people for buying that console.
Like you Subzero-san I think I will buy ps3 ( after a year released) then I will consider about Xbox if they really good to play for so I will let my hand grab that console. |

I dunno if FF7 remake is actually coming out for PS3, after all... the only thing released about FF7 was a tech demo using PS3's power. I don't think they have any plans to remake FF7.
Back to the topic.
When I see good, quality games for the 360... I'll purchase that as well as the PS3. I definitely know PS3 has the games I want, but I'd like to try new things with the 360. I've always wanted to be an Xbox live gamer...
Right now... there isn't much reason to buy one... except for the fact that DoA 4 is exclusively for the 360. This really... really... dissappoints me.

Is that just a rumor? because friend of mine also told me there will be remake of FFVII on ps3 but when I searched internet there just have FVII demo only. If not true about the remake of FFVII is kinda dissapointed me.
Anyway what other best games will come out for Xbox besides DOA 4 |

please dont say that!! I was really hoping for Final Fantasy7 to be remake in ps3... T_T let us just hope it will be remake... [-o<
emm bout DOA4 I've seen the game reviews it is so great the graphic is upgraded and the place is added and the new hit system...I dont think it is a dissapointment even if it only released in xbox360... because that might be the strenght point and also the main reason people to buy xbox360...
(actually I'm not a DOA fan...hee :p )

Actually, the professional reviewers like IGN or GameSpot give these new games high ratings. Take Madden, for example. These reviewers gave the game high rating while the reader reviewers gave it really low ratings. As for the marketing strategy, I don't think it's a good marketing if they have to repalce the Xbox360 defects for free. This has happened before when PS2 came out, but it wasn't big of a deal compared today. It costs more to produce a PS2 console than an Xbox360.

In reality, that assumption isn't real. They have small amount because they rushed it. If they didn't, why do you think there are a lot of bad reports of the Xbox360? Spending such amount of money to be Microsoft haters, I doubt it. And no way they would want to sell limited amount of systems just for rarity since they're not getting a single cent profit if someone sells their system for $5,000 or BestBuy luring the consumers to buy the $569.93 bundles.

hmm I has to agree with that... if thay done it they're just making fool of them self and have to face the crucial financial problem from it...
trying to fix xbox360 problem is hard job but to release small amount of it is crazy...

I dunno. I'm actually disappointed that the only apparent upgrades they've done was the hair flows and the environment/stages. The engine/phsyics still has the same feel as the old ones and it seems to me that the main thing they're taking advantage of the Xbox360's capability is the anti-aliasing. The game could have been way improved. I'm not saying it sucks. I'm just saying I'm disappointed. |

That's why I was trying to say "if they have bad games," because I personally haven't played any of them or have checked many of the reviews. On most of the message boards I've gone onto, they've said the new Madden is a step back from the previous ones, saying that some of the better features were lost. Plus, repairing the units is probably cheaper than having to refund the buyers money, but there could be some fees in there that I haven't heard about.

It could be possible, but I'd still bank my money on that they're holding back systems. While they might not be making money now, the shortage is basically giving them free publicity. While the profits could be low now, the high demand that they're creating now will most likely pay off during the next shipment. Remember the "Tickle Me Elmo?" I think that's the same situation Microsoft is trying to create.

| I don't think so, they are betting too much on the system. A worldwide launch requires way more hardware over way more territories. I'm sure they are shipping all they can, BUT, I'm also sure it will take much less time then some website claim to see some new 360 on the shelves. |

Yeah, I think they've just recently built a couple of new factories too. They're shipping cargos of Xbox360s everyday. And Sony are planning to shut down some of their CRT TV plants since the profits from that are getting lower. This will let them invest more capital on faster PS3 development.
I'm currently looking for the Sony's flash that my friend talked to me about a few nights ago that explains why they chose that boomerang shape controller design that everybody has seen...
EDITED: I found the site that my friend was talking about. I'm not sure who made that flash. I've also found out that instead of Sony unveiling the redesigned controller at CES at Vega$ this Januaray, they might give the controller minor changes. That means they'll be sticking with the boomerang shape after all. |

i saw it was like really small and controllers are comfotable and i watched the countdown  it has graphics good as a computer

unless the xbox 360 gets some good games its goin to flop.. The ps3 is suppose to be even more powerful then the xbox360 and one doesnt have to worry about the game libaray  ... Im goin to wait for the ps3 to come out before deciding, besides the game developers dont know the limits to the systems yet so the earlier games for the 360 wont be so great and.. no more xbox 360 to jan any way.. |
