Well sparkling hmm...
It might be like this, First when you have all the rest of the image done, make a new layer (Shift+Ctrl+N) and go to Image>Apply Image. After that go to Filters>Blur>Gaussian Blur and choose between 0.5 - 2.0 so It doesn't look bad, then put the blending mode to Lighten.
Original
w/ the Gaussian Blur
Also you can use a brush, I have some but they only work on right color backround. _________________ XDXDXD |

Err... you know in mangas, how the shaded areas are have those little dotted effects in them? I was wondering how you can make that kind of affect on photoshop?
I increase the noise using the filters, but it just doesn't look the same.
Help would be greatly appreciated. x] |

I belive I know what you are looking for, but not sure. Not a very experienced PS user myself ^^; And I know this is an old post but here goes.
You simply select the brush tool. And then o the top left...or at least mine is, there should be an icon of the tool of which you are using, in this case the 'brush' tool.
you'll see a drop down arrow, click on it and select 'air brush' =]
hope that helps, that is if you haven't already found a way yourself ^^;

Aethereality.net has some photoshop brushes that I've downloaded myself. I have Photoshop CS2, and I save it in Adobe Photoshop/Preset/Brushes folder.
When you open up Adobe Photoshop again, they will appear. |
