| giggity: I haven't done much "real" gambling, just the stock market and that was not a good experience. I do know from gambling though....I will most likely go for the drinks, the women and the shows. |

you're not "wasting money on gambling"... you're "investing in opportunity." Heehee... well, that's what I always told myself.
A word of advice when you set foot in a casino... don't bring any credit/debits cards or ANYTHING besides the cash you're willing to lose and your drivers' license. Keep your food money and your playing money seperate and make sure you eat before you run out of either!! Especially if you have a long ride home.
As for myself, I've been about a dozen times (to the casino 100 miles from here on the East Coast). I always bring $100. I think 8 or 9 times I've left with empty pockets, 2 or 3 times I've come home with between $75-150 and once I came home with $4,500. So right now I'm ahead of the game... don't tell THEM though ^__^
PS: if anyone's forgot, I'm 25 _________________

| kimmie: yes and no. You need to be 21 to go to casinos not on American-Indian land, you have to be 18 to go to casinos there. But the difference is that they are not allowed to use all of the games, and their casinos are in odd places. |

kimmie: because land that is controlled by American-Indians is not considered federal land, and as such, they are not bound by the same rules that we are. Furthermore, do to the atrocities that have come upon them at the hands of the Americans, they are in sparse numbers, and really only have Casinos to profit from at the moment. This, however, is changing as more and more American-Indian children are moving onto college and gaining an education.
I know this is a bit long, but this kind of explains the reasoning for the differing ages. Also, gambling is technically illegal in the U.S. except for a few places....Vegas, Native-American tribes....well some other places can have casinos, but only certain games.
It is all very complicated. |

| kimmie: odd how complicated it is when so much money is being generated over it, I mean billions of dollars are being spent, which means billions of dollars to be taxed. Funny how things work. But internet gambling is a no-no, the government is in the process of banning that. |
