Pokemon Manga

So my little brother was watching the horrible TV series the other day and the thought occured to me that I've never read the manga...anyone know anywhere where I could get a torrent for it or anything?

Has anyone else here ever read it? WHat's it like if so...curiosity is killing me for some reasonO_o;

It is currently licensed by Viz, which, for one reason or another, has only published parts of the whole manga..

Tried searching for the it on the web, but couldn't find anything.. You can go to south asia to buy it yourself ^^

I had bought some of it along time ago >_< it was Ok but they changed some of the names Ash = Red (i think?) and Gary was blue or something like that >_>

the manga i read was from Season 1 of the anime to Season 2 ( 1st set of gym battles + Orange island)

Read them a while back, and there are two major ones that I'm aware of. Both of them are pretty good, though, since there is actual blood in fighting, there is some (very small) sexual content (although not like that), and guess what... there is a plot! Yeah, the manga isn't all that great compared to others, but it is leagues better than what the anime is.

theres a pokemon manga? you got to be kidding me... thats awful!!! when will it just disappear.. i mean i was into when it first came out... i was like 12 or something like that...but seriously it never ends... they just keep going and going just like power rangers...

Whoa, that sounds pretty cool. In fact, that sounds a whole load better than the lame, childish anime pokemon on tv.

wow... a pokemon manga... so unheard of! i did read a couple of volumes of the pokemon adventures licensed by VIZ in english, it wasn't about ash though. no idea that there was an actual pokemon manga!
