I have said this before, but Yuffie definitely rocks! Her ultimate weapon along with the morph materia allows her to cause morph damage equal to damage from an ordinary attack. In other words, easy accumulation of the sources for maxing stats.

Celes also is cool. She can use magic and is a female FF character who can actually use heavy swords and armor. Also, her runic ability is the best.

Quistis and Paine...definitely. I tend not to like the main female leads...they're either shallow, clingy, or the 'I'll do ANYTHING for love!! <3 <3 <3' kind of girls...well, at least, in the 'new' games (Terra was pretty cool).

Bumped thread, sorry.

My number one female character from Final Fantasy has got to be Tifa Lockhart. Not only is she probably the best looking character of the series, but she's also one of the strongest characters as well (if you're lucky).

I still don't get why Cloud picked Aeris/Aerith over her, but oh wells. The hero always defuses the best girl.

i would have to say that the fav FF girl i like would b Terra from Final Fantasy III (aka Final Fantasy VI).

however, i prob like Aeris from FFVII the most cuz of her limit break.

but the most i prob like is Yuna from FFX cuz of her summoning. who couldn't resist on calling bahumat and using megaflare.
