i just remembered an incident with my brother...
we were at our grandmas old old house...
my grandpa had his relatives remembered by having a picture of them displayed on a something like a shrine thing... and with all the incense burning and stuff like that...
we were on the second floor watching tv and my brother was downstairs playing with clay...
beside my brother was a rocking chair... *DUN DUN DUN!!!*
hahaha well as you might assume.. the rocking chair started swaying without any external force moving it... when i brother glanced over it.. it slowed down its rocking and abruptly stopped... he was kinda nervous by then but he thought nothing much of it and resumed playing but at the corner of his eyes he kept an eye on the thing... when his attention wavered the chair started rocking again... and would do so everytime he would take his focus on it.. and it would abruptly stop everytime he looked at it directly.. but it was obvious it was rocking since it slowed down and stopped... after like the 5th time the chair stopped my brother had it and came rushing towards the second floor and teling us about it.. naturally we didn't believe him and just let him watch tv with us.. _________________

i guess i could say that i did.
ok heres the story.
I stayed up alittle late one night to watch S-CRY-ED. then i watched allitle bit of the next show after S-CRY-ED. then i went upstairs. it was pitch black. i walked into my room and saw what looked like a shadow with eyes. i looked for a few seconds while feeling for the light switch. when i turned the switch on it was gone. then i walked over got ready for bed and turned on the lamp so i could see back to the bed after i turned the lights off. so i walked back over and turned the lights off. then i turned the lamp off and layed in be i looked over and the shadow wasn't there but i saw something in the room across the hall. as i looked it dissapeared arround a corner. then i started hearing things. i couldve swore it said get out or something like that but i dont know. i fell asleep shortly after. _________________ Want advice DONT WORK AT WALMART... I DIDN'T SEE ANYTHING SCARY.....

I saw one in my mom's x-bf's Terry house. It was a shadow-dog. It was sitting on top of Terry's chair, and it was the figure of a small Scottish Terrior. My sis saw it too, but on her bed instead of on the chair.
Also, at my Grandads house. I didn't see anything, but upstairs was the haunted place. I know because no one would go up there, cuz just going up the stairs will send a chill down your spine and cause butterflies in your stomach. Wasn't 'til he died that the spooky feeling disappeared. It sucked though cuz the only bathroom in that house was up the stairs, and when the ghost was upstairs....it made one quick bathroom trip.
Oh! And once a few years ago we were driving home from Orlando, when we drove past a closed motel. I looked out the window of the van, and I saw a huge shadow of a man walking on the top ledge, flipping one of those old top hats. The thing was though that 1. The motel was closed, and 2. I haven't seen one, but from what my Aunt says I've been near some.
Because I recently visited relatives in the Phillipines, and there are lots of ghost stories there, and my aunt said that when they were away, and the maids were cleaning the rooms upstairs, they felt like that there was someone on their shoulder. And, they also said that when they were downstairs, they heard some noises upstairs [hard to believe, and there's not many machinery in houses].

sure we do... watch Ghost Hunters on SciFi Channel. They use thermal imagers, some weird meter thing, and ole' fashioned video camera. Of interesting note, The Atlantic Paranormal Society (TAPS) office is about 10 miles from where I live... that's the agency the cameramen follow around.
Anyway, I have a new story of an encounter of mine that happened to me yesterday. As people who've been here long enough to know my stories, I seem to attract spirits wherever they dwell. So anyway, today I went walking in the woods around the pond by my house. Walking in the woods has never been a big deal, it has clearly marked paths, some even paved. I used to walk to an old bridge way up toward the top point of the pond, but hadn't been there in years. Yesterday, I decided I would walk until I found it.
So I went out, camera in hand as always, and searched for the old bridge. I found it no problem... it was just another 10 minutes further along the path I usually walk.
I stopped for a rest and to take some photos, then decided that since I had plenty of energy, I would keep going. I crossed the short bridge, and immediately upon setting foot on the soil on the other side, I had an ominous feeling... that dark, sinking feeling you get when you know you're on creepy territory. Going against my better judgement, I dismissed it as paranoia and continued on walking anyway. Bad idea.
I was alright for a while, though despite it being like 10 in the morning on a bright day, it was dark where I was. It wasn't even that the woods were so thick, it just felt like the light was being sucked up by something. I kept walking, but I was nervous. I was no longer enjoying my walk, but rather jumping and being spooked at every noise (which was a lot since the acorns are starting to fall). I started to panic and everywhere I turned, my senses were going insane. Of course, I still chalked it up to an overactive imagination.
I kept walking, even stopping every now and then to take some photos. The path was relatively close to the pond, so I knew I wasn't all that far off from civilization, but then the path took an unexpected turn... away from the water and deeper into the woods. This is the area where my spirit-sensors were going nuts.
I could feel hundreds of dead souls all standing off in the distance watching me. A voice in my head kept saying "Don't look left, don't look back, they will get you." Of course, I refused to believe it and looked left anyway. Another big mistake. The part of the path I was walking was like a giant horse-shoe, and to the left was the "inside" of the horseshoe. That's where I could sense the souls of dozens of dead children, hung from the trees. To the right, were people off all ages and genders watching me. I didn't want to run, but I sure as hell wanted to get out of there quick.
So yeah, to make matters worse, I had a dream about it when I went to bed shortly after getting home. I'm not walking through those woods alone ever again. Maybe I'll go through with someone else just to see if they sense anything, but nothing worse than TWO people freaking out, haha. _________________ GTX: Great Teacher Xeno... my daily blog about teaching in an elementary and middle school in Japan (see right-menu)
