Well, I think you could say that, but as always; it's about the strategy you use. I guess the problem you're referring to against terran is siege tanks, but those can be easily overcome with guardians (when in an offense) and by burrowed zerglings (in defense). And terran can't really use their nukes against zerg, as the ghosts can be easily spotten by overlords.
I tend to have a problem against terran when I'm zerg, 'cause I rely too much on quantity and often charges with armies of zerglings, which don't stand a chance against those siege tanks ;_;
But where is terran weak against protoss?? _________________ "It is also paradox that the earth moves round the sun, and that water consists of two highly inflammable gases. Scientific truth is always paradox, if judged by every-day experience, which catches only the delusive appearance of things."

Maybe air strike from protoss much stronger than terran.. But when did they will released other series of Starcraft and not the survivor adventure game which can control only one person....
It's just what you said, it depends on the strategy you use. Each units from each race has their own weaknesses. It's not a matter of how one race is weak against another.
But if you would like to check out how terrans can be weak against protoss, I suggest you watch some starcraft vids from http://video.google.com . They happen to have some clips of some top players who even have 3 year contracts of $300,000 or $750,000.
As for a new StarCraft, I don't really see the need for it. Multi-processes is coming soon and they would surely want to take advantage of this in their next StarCraft. They made a good decision at focusing more on WoW as it needs more support instead of making another variation of an RTS that won't be much different from Warcraft 3. I wouldn't want to degrade the name of StarCraft just because of that. I would at least give them 2-4 years to make a new one.
From what I've seen, a Starcraft 2 is maybe already in the process of being made. I read somewhere (can't remember where) that it will probably be out sometime in 2006, as it seems there are some pointers in that way. But this little article on gamespot made me almost cry; Blizzard debunks Starcraft 2 rumor.
I've never liked warcraft, and especially not Warcraft 3, there's something about the gameplay and the graphics that really bugs me.. The same goes for WOW. _________________ "It is also paradox that the earth moves round the sun, and that water consists of two highly inflammable gases. actually, terran has arguably the most powerful airforce in the game... and yet in my mind i still find air almost completely worthless if your opponent scouts well and knows what they're doing...
its not hard to counter air AT all. and thugangel... i'd say its not that protoss has an advantage over terran, its more so the skill of the player, i mean for one thing, terran has horrible early game detection, dt rush anyone? ... but of course, if terran player scouts, theres some definite signs to that, and then they'll build detectors, every unit in this game has a counter... its up to you to figure out what to counter and what to use... thats what i think.. _________________ Mr. Offtopic o_o

I love the game, I hate the people who play on B.net, since the only map anyone's willing to use is Big Gay Hunter, or one of those crappy fast money map. Tried picking it up again recently, things didn't improve at all, except every game's played on a map with millions of resource right next to your starting base.
Having said I hate BGH though, I did enjoy going terran, block entrance to base with supply depots / bunkers / siege tanks / upgraded goliaths and what-not, then send out a few ghosts, nuking everywhere.
this game is pretty well balanced out. there is always a counter for something. even though zerg is quick and have mass numbers they are weak. protoss are strong but they take a long time to build up. terran are like the in between class, decent firepower and speed. however when i used to play i went random cuz i know how to use all three races. this game is pretty much a game of rock, paper, scissors.

Yah, I used to go random too, the money maps kind of destroyed things a bit though... with Zerg for example, its building a heap of hatcheries around your base, and pump out zerglings and hydras like mad...

You just customize the map, using the campaign editor. So you can rig your map to have as many minerals or as few as possible, where ever you want in the map. Anyone can do that. _________________ I don't care if you can make the impossible possible.
Can you make the possible impossible?
Ya its been a LONG time since I last played this game but after seeing this thread, i decided to play again. If anyone wants to play with me my account name is sagarasouske. I usually play BGH or battlecraft on ums. I also don't have a favourite race. I play random all the time.
SC was a great game until the introduction of BGH, which changed the gameplay completely and everyone wanted to play that map. When I played SC I always do random, although I found Terrans to be the most enjoyable. I hope SC2 will come out because I was not nearly into WC3 as SC.
Could someone explain to me what exactly BGH means?? I've figured out it's a map.. Is it a money map? I just hate those -_-"
I usually play the original maps from the game, as they are the most enjoyable in my opinion. I especially like cyclone (think that's the name), a 4 player map.. I play it all the time ^^ _________________ "It is also paradox that the earth moves round the sun, and that water consists of two highly inflammable gases.
