Some of you have watched FMA anime, while I've only read de manga....
Wich is better?
Should I get the anime...or it's not worth the effort?

I think the original is always better...the manga has better action and storyline...n has some funny scenes and characters not included in the anime....
The anime (especially this one) is good....i see both by the way...
I see them two different stories...the anime is more gloomy in my opinion...it sometimes depressess me...but I like to see Roy n his men in action...that's why i watch the anime...

The anime is definitly worth it, it's one of the better ones I've seen. The plot leaves the manga, although the deaths (most) are still present, they're also added to. The anime moves a lot faster so it's hard to compare it to the manga, since it's nearing it's finish (only a few more eps to go). The anime's also darker in some aspects, but that might be because it's at a point the manga hasn't reached.
The music and the animation are great, though. and the basic points are all maintained. Definitely watch it for itself, but don't expect a retelling of the manga or get excited about details. |
