Also, I've heard that there is going to be an expansion disc for the PS2 and 360 in Japan. There's not much information about it though, except for the image and the expansion name:

There's sitll some speculation into whether that's going to be an expansion or just Online Content in the form of Story Mode. From what I'm hearing... Although IGN said it... There's no confirmation by anyone else...
Glad to see someone else is looking forward to this game, did you figure out which platform you were going to play on? As you may or may not know, the 360 version will be seperated from the PS2/PC version. I'm gonna be on the PC version for sure... There's also been some good videos being made... 60FPS videos are awesome, I really hope my computer will do what I built it for and run the game like that.
Well... I'll stop rambling here. From what I've seen, this game is very good and Sega... Rather Sonic Team seems to treasure this game... So you can assume it'll be much better off then PSO.

At first, I was wanting to get the PC version. But after seeing that I'd get the bonus game soundtrack if I pre-ordered the PS2 one, I changed my mind completely.
My computer probably couldn't handle the constant internet connection anyways, since you have to (if I remember correctly) be connected to the internet at all times, even offline. _________________

They changed that so now the PC and X360 versions get the soundtrack too. >.>;;
I'm going to preorder my PC copy today, October 25th (That's the day that I'll actually have the day) is the day my PC was built for. To play PSU. The only thing that does suck about the constant connection is that... If the Sega Link servers go under maintenance, then you can't play Offline mode on PC.
With PS2 though, that isn't a problem. And honestly, I played the PS2 JP version, and it runs pretty damn well. It looks nice too, so it's a really good deal. And if it matters to you at all, the PC/PS2 servers are seperated from the X360 servers. They wanted it to be a Live enabled game, so they aren't going to be connected. The JP and NA/EU ships aren't connected either, dunno if they ever will be but that sorta doesn't matter to me right now.
I just pre-ordered my PC copy yesterday, felt really gratifying to know I can just go in and pick it up when it's finally out.
It took me awhile, but I'm finally settling on making a Beast for my first character for a few reasons... From what I know of the game, the content will probably not all be released right away... This makes for updates and such, but there's a certain thing that I want for my normal character... Since I can't get it right away, I'm going to level a Beast Hunter until it comes out. This game...I might get one. If so, this will be my first Phantasy Star game.
It looks promising and I already saw some Torrents of a cracked game on the internet but I yield since it's over 5 GB.
so it'll be released on Oct. 24th eh?
Gotta preorder this game^^...and I heard that PS2 and PC versions will share the same servers...is it true? _________________ PS3 Trophies

Rai - It is true. PS2 and PC share a server, and 360 users have their own server.
(Assuming I even play online,) I'm probably going to stick with being a human (like I did in PSO), but those Casts look really tempting with those Nanoblasts...

raiden> i whould suggest renting PSO 1&2 for xbox or GC and get threw at least the mine's, that whould give u a fairly good grasp on the overall controls and what each spell does, and how to chain attacks.
