so u whould rather cough up 200 dollars just to play a new game?

Sorry, but whenever I hear "used PS2", I always think in my mind "PS2 that somebody returned because something is very wrong with it". Therefore, because of that thought, I stay away from used.

Or I'm probably thinking of refurbishment. Tomato-tomato.

That's the link to the billing site to sign up for a Guardians License...

Secondly. There is no free trial. There are 2 options for first time
subscribers... The first is to sign up for $10 and get 45 days for you
first subscription. This is 15 days free. The second, is to sign up
for $50 and get 210 days. That's 30 days free.

There's mixed views and thoughts on this... Firstly... Sega is getting
their money either way with this method. Really though... If you plan
on playing for a long time, then you're still getting your free days
either way... I don't have the money in the bank right now, but
depending on how things go... I'll probably just go with the $50
package and not worry about a subscription for 7 months... It's not
like I plan on leaving the game anytime soon. I understand this could
frustrate some people, but Sega is a business afterall.

Aside from that though... It could possibly have to do with what
happened to the Japanese servers at their launch... I think it's a good business decision, however as a consumer I'm sure that alot of people will find this to... Well... Suck.

I picked up my Copy of SU today...sadly, I haven't even played it yet due to my dying fat PS2. My slimline PS2 however...I plan to give it to my brother and I already put it on a box and i don't want to open it up. Coz I'm pretty sure that the Slimline and the Fat PS2's configuration on Online play won't match, that happend to me when I trie to play MGS online with data configs from my fat PS2

maybe I should buy ANOTHER PS2...

Guardian License is the monthly service that lets you play PSU Online. The cost is $9.99/month.

I went ahead and did my registration the night before.

If you were able to log onto the servers before all of that happened, everything was fine. The game ran perfectly and there were no problems... However if you logged out, that was it. You were done for awhile. I actually had pretty good luck with the servers myself, alot of people are upset, but it's not like I didn't see that coming.

There's still those people who have everything in the word to say negative about this game... One guy even thinks it should be recalled because they're unlocking content from the disc and because the 360 has some slowdown in places. Well... My PC doesn't so that doesn't affect me really. I'm completely satisfied with this game, and lookin forward to more content in the future.

I'm easily entertained though, and I've been waiting for the game for a long time. I wouldn't take everything I say about this game seriously. Heh.

but...it can't accet my card due to the fact that it was registered to my OLD mailing address, and I moved....T.T

Sorry about that, I didn't notice that he'd posted he found the link. I've been pretty out of it lately, since I've only come to forums around the time I'm headed off to bed.

As soon as I can... I wanna start playing through Story Mode. It's hard to go Offline after being on, because you have people that message you, friends that want you to level, items you wanna check out in player stores etc etc... But I really wanna know what the stories all about..

Really enjoying Online though... I have my own Player Shop that's doing pretty well, bought some new threads, getting my PM leveled up, and most importantly I'm syntesizing very well. There are things that I would've loved to have had in the game, and things that I don't understand why they are the way they are... But apparently they aren't things that are big enough to get me off the game.

And yeah... Nanoblast = Awesome.
