Heh, yea, im enjoying it a lot myself., Been hooked on it ever since i got it, though it sucks that my work cuts down my game tile lol. Only got about 14 hours online, and a few offline. The story is ok so far, better then the other PS games. But still nothing to get really excited about. By the way, anyone know what lvl you can take your personal robot out with you? I know Offline its lvl 30, but what is it online? I was told its not lvl 30, but i have no idea what it is.....

I'm new to this game and reading this thread got me interested in PSU. Ive played a few online games before and I hated the constant farming for levels. Just a question for the people that are playing it, is it a constant grinding for level? or are there quests and mission to do. In online mod, is there a story that leads us the players through?

story?? ha ha...the PSO (ep. 1 and 2) had a very very weak "Main" story line and the quests ofter a better alt story line, but it was the same thine...constant lv's....PSU hasnt really changed other than the fact that the main story line is a lot better, but its still a contant lv up or die a really horrible death

will it be somthing similar to world of warcraft? or more along the lines of silkroad?
silkroad is a major farming game, kill 1000 of those..then another 1500 of these guys.

I just wanna play somthing for fun, don't wanan get heavily hooked onto like world of warcraft

no psu, isnt like wow, or silkroad, but it is a kill this creature, than kil lthat one. just to advanced the sotry line/access new levels. and sence there are 4 difs (normal/hard/very hard/ultimate) it gets really repetive. plus for new players the whole timeing scheme really throws ya off, and u wont be able to do 3 hit combos

good! hah, and i have to disagree. It is a little like WoW. You party up to do missions(quests) and go through the Missions field(Instance), with your group. You have your healers, your tanks, your range. Soloing is still possible, of course. Only in PSU, it futuristic, there are, of course, huge differences. There arent professions, like in WoW. But we do have the synthesizing. WoW is more open, while PSU is closed unless you're a certain lvl, for certain missions. There are huge other similarities, adn differences, but they both rule! heh, and look me up. Names Dark Elmo. I'm a CAST Ranger

OMG...It's quite fun to play PSU online!!!

so far...leveling up really ticks me off...it's hard to make your level higher w/out a party of High Level players.

btw guys, i need some kind of advice. I'm using a CAST and I'm just wondering, what kind of weapons can i equip? (besides Handguns, Rifles and Sabers). And what are those "X" on the left side of an item?

I didn't see any A-S members playing lol.

And I'm using the same username there. It's "Raiden"

...Huh. I guess they took some elements from the old PSO games.

I would suppose that you're only allowed to use the Handguns, Rifles, and Sabers, because your a CAST. Certain classes can only equip certain weapons (but...I think you obviously knew that by know).

cast as in...robot? wow, yeah "x" means u cant use that item, ud be better off tradeign it to someone or tossing it, but yeah i odnt play online, ps2 istn set for it, plus im kinda in a money bind right now.

I think I'll need a PS2 keyboard so I can type faster than using the interface.

Man...I need some new/better weapons coz my ATK sucks. it even gives me a 0 damage. So far I've reached level 11 thanks to High level players. I need more MONEy!!!

findind money = hard til labotu lv 30 or so, and all low-lv players do 0 sometimes...its liek missing...only worse, ha ha, u cna fix that by useing "heavy" or "Hard" attacks, but u lose some acc.

i did, for one month, then i quit cuz my licence expired...i figured id give it a chance. major dissapoint ment, lots of people have allready started cheating and useing mods. bah, whata bunch of wimps.
