Will the video iPod play DivX?

I ABSOLUTELY have to know. Can the new iPod Video handle Divx (the standard video codec for anime torrents)? If it can, then i'm getting myself a new iPod for christmas, if not.....does anyone know if the PSP can handle DivX?

As far till now Ipod Video doesn't support DivX feature but they might include it in the next update

its a bit late to be in time for christmas, but...

the psp needs a converter to play video files too, i dont think you can just drag and drop files into it to play

No, I believe on the apple website. The iPod spec have the video file that the iPod support, but you can alwasy convert the DivX to something that iPod would play(which I believe is MPEG-4)
