Kami-sama I'd already search and there is no topic for this game yet, but if is does you can remove it.

Well this is not a newest game but one of my favourite pc- strategy games. I started to play this game since 11 years old if I not wrong about that. I like this game because we can built our own kingdom and war over monster,creatures and dragons. We even can play with our friend in one pc because it was turn based game. From HOMM 1 till 4 the 3DO who responsibilty maked this game but V were make by Ubisoft.

This game not so good at graphic designed but the fantasy world that make I like much about. Here some pictures...

Thanks a lot for posting the pics. I love Heroes of might & magic series, though i ony played Heroes III b4, however heroes V will be a lot better in term of graphics and gameplay as compared to heroes III. According to gamefaqs.com, this game will be released on 1st Feb 2006. Can't wait for it to come out ^^

I played Heroes 1-4 but 4 was a big letdown for me especially when compared to 3. 3 was just great, had a gigantic story that fit in with Might&Magic 6 and 7 and followed the story of Heroes2 . I got really attached to some of the characters. But Heroes 4... had no such thing. It's like comparing Lord of the Rings to a compilation of short stories.

Maybe Ubisoft can turn things around and regain my trust in the Heroes series. But to be true, I'd rather have Age of Wonders 3...

i love heroes of might and magic 4 and played with my friends all the time but the story line was quite random and i am grateful that they decided to put a lore to the game i hope the the player vs player remains the same but by the views of the clips the have Razz

Whoa there is some people does like HOMM at here, I'm so happy.

Well for me the best HOMM will be HOMM III. Because the storyline are well developed and attached to M&M too, not just that the character and armies are much choiser rather than HOMM IV which quite turn me down.

I much much love ArchDevil and normal Angel in HOMM III not forgot about Black Dragon too which cool and brutally. HOMM III is more fun and take me all out with their expansion pack, I have them all but not for long after my friend who nicely borrowed it and forgot how to return back to me and then keep as his treassure after his moved on to far place from my home. Evil or Very Mad

Oh thank for telling me the released date, anyway the Beta test already opened rite but is too many people who intend to play, more than thousands poeple registered for it.

If the any good infos about HOMM latest or oldest please share with us..

i like HOMM 3 too... I like the interactivity in this game rather than HOMM4... it was really a let down...

and I'm taking the pheonix (forgotten which castle it from) side in HOMM3... it is a real treasure game... to bad it is hard to find in here anymore...

I only played HoMM 3 mostly. I played a few hours of no.4 at my friends house.

It was rather unbalanced in the sense that If you have say....the fastest unit ArchAngel......You get first strike and if you kill off the target unit, the unit cannot retaliate and so your archangel goes unscathed. Even if it did survive, it's retaliation would be weaker than it should be. That's too much of an advantage. Easily exploitable strategy.

No. 4 did away with this combat system, which certainly is an improvement.

Altough I much prefer No.3 , Those Silver pegasus riders from Rampart are so sexy Very Happy

HOMM3 is rare for now to find here, my country.. I went to game shop and what I got is HoMM 1, 2 and 4 where is 3, need to order.. hell no for that. The most castle I like from HoMM3 is Rampart because it just look like a bit to Japan house beside I love unicorn and not to forget those sexy pegasus..

What I hope from HoMM not just for realistic graphic but please focus on storylines, nowadays many games just focus on the graphic designned but they just can't make such a great story like before. What we can do is let see how far Ubisoft can succes the HoMM 5.

they gonna ruind the new heroes with fancy graphs and stuff like that..
i read about it and they wont even have the old turn based combat system! its gonna be like all the other real time strategies..

Do you mean the whole game is RTS now or just the combat sequences?

I agree, it's horrible!!

Damn, I miss casting those spells.......I hope they will reintroduce player spell-casting.

Played 2, and 3, maybe 4 too, can't remember...

Anyway, some units are wayyy overpowered...

In two, just get a hero with a hell lot of spell power, a group of nothing but black dragons, and armagedden everything in sight, town portal for fast travel and stuff (Think it works with 3 as well... can't remember which one's which any more though).

And Vampires, damn they're scary in a huge group, the fact that the highest level of necromacy will result in Vampires don't make things any better... its like, you hit me?? I'll retalliate, I get all my men back, you lose a huge chunk of yours! Undead guys are scary!!!

although i havent played it yet i got like 5 diff people telling me its awesome and i seen a lot of reviews and i think this game is awesome

He mean reviews from Beta server perhaps..

My favourite kingdom is Rampart, they have unique and beautiful creatures, the lovely unicorn and pegasus.

Lets diccus something about heroes 3, which kingdom you like to use and what yours best creatures in battles?...
