Mobile Suit Gundam

I love the Universal Century; nothing in any of the Gundam timelines comes close to it. It starts off with Amuro Ray seeming like all of those other anime characters, all cool and unconcerned but as soon as he jumps into the Gundam you realize that he is just some scared kid. Then as the plot goes on he matures and so do all of the other characters. The battles also shift from space to land, switching between the two just when you get tired of the other.

The thing I love the most about the original Gundam would have to be the mech. Any anime that has groups of people that can go over how the mech work is a true mech anime. If you look hard enough you can find schematics and such on the different mobile suits.

Oh and Ensign451 the DRAGOON system is very similar to the either the psycommu system and the bio-computer among other things. They all have to do with controlling machines through thought waves, which are sent to a computer, and then the computer operates the machinery desired to be controlled by the user.
