Proof that Pokemon is Evil

since they're legendary, they must have done something in the pokemon world that's considered legendary<<<sorry, dont know how to expound more.

okay, giv u an example: the movie bout the 3 legendary birds? wel, these 3 can cause havoc if disturbed from their sleep. i guess that's what's legendary bout them...cause havoc. Haha

haha, wow this little ole' thread I started like two days ago sure has grown. Lots of good input from people (and to those of you who couldn't make out what it said, push the "see lyrics" button underneathe it and it'll show ya).

Anyways, like I said when I opened this thread, I'm not a Poke-hater. I can't be, it's where my anime addiction started (that and CardCaptor Sakura on the good ole' WB). I really only like it for the cute girls, haha, but the plot drew me in little by little. The gameboy games were awesome too, but I couldn't find anyone to battle with until long after I retired my party (Raichu, Ivysaur, Vulpix, Skarmory, Dewgong, and Espeon... best team ever!!!).

I really only watched the first three seasons when the show was really good. The 4th season was alright, but it started to go downhill after it got repetitive. It was always just Jesse and James doing the same tricks that never worked and were always foiled in the same way. They need something to shake things up (not sure why Misty left, though I was upset when Brock left for a little bit.. oh well, too bad for Rachel Lillis, though I'm starting to hear her in other things now, maybe it was a good thing her character got the boot then).

One thing that really bugged me though was through the whole first two seasons they kept saying only 151 pokemon existed in the world (Kanto) and then in the 3rd season, they just cross a mountain range and enter apparently a different universe or something cause everyone there has been raising 300+ pokemon for generations (the Johto Region). Do the two regions like never communicate? Couldn't they have at least TRIED to explain why things changed (or why the Kanto people were oblivious)? I mean, I know it's for kids, but I'm sure they realize things like that too.

(* we all know in the real world that it's all about marketing and product endorsement... more pokemon on the show means more pokemon toys on the store shelves)

And yes... we know it is for kids, all anime fans know that. The reason the embarrassment continues for the otaku-kind is that people who don't know any other animes ASSUME that ALL anime is childish. That's where my gripe lies, not really in the series itself. Why can't Evangelion or Mai-HiME be like the "stereoptypical" anime that the general public knows about? The public would take us a lot more seriously if they knew the whole story.

Sorry for the rant, I've been away all weekend, got some catching up to do, heehee

looks like they aint showing signes of dieying out, pokemon is old, but probly will continu for years to come......like wasps and communism...not a lot of ppl like em, but they're still around....

seriously guys, whoever came up with the reverse song to the pokemon rap clearly had way too much time on his hands, it's basically just taking sounds from the rap and making it into something it isn't, so i have no clue where the love satan comes from, anyways, i'll agree with everyone else here who've said that pokemon is old haha, cuz it is! 7 or 8 years old, it's nearing the decade, and the damn kid still isn't a pokemon master yet! haha maybe in the next few seasons, but not anytime soon

my bro used to pay Pokemon, too(the oldest version). And he never let his pokemons evolve even if they're in the right level. he cancels it. it was weird really. but he said this will make his pokemons stronger...and i never got to ask why.

Pokemon who are stopped from evolving ten to grow levels much faster, this is because they have less experiance points to gaine to get to the next level.
Plus, the pkmn will learn its more powerfull attacks at an earlier level, and the pkmn get to stay cute!

Down side is that their stats stay low, they may not learn some moves the evolved form could and they miss out on looking cool....except for Weezing....hes ugly....

that's why i like pokemons that don't evolve.....like the legendary pokemons, but they're strong already.

holy.. crap.. way to get extremely off topic and reveal all your incredible knowledge and inferences of pokemon. anyway to actually reply to the topic, that's pretty freaky.. I've heard of songs doing that but I've never actually known a song to have done that, til now.
