Oh boy oh boy, this is the best news so far about episode III. I confess... I've picked up this series and kept playing only for one reason... KOS-MOS.
They made yet another redesign on KOS-MOS! This makes it KOS-MOS ver.4! This is the coolest design yet! I know the whole aesthetics went down hill with episode II, but now they are going to try and redeem themselves by offering the fanboys what they always wanted. Bringing back the helmet and the episode I's original KOS-MOS look, even the suspender stockings are back!!!!!
I'm just going to make a comparison of all the KOS-MOS designs chronologically.
The first KOS-MOS, that was probably everyone's favorite.

The version 2, this is the ugliest of the series; which caused many fanboys to cringe in horror. I don't know what they did at Vector industries lab, but they sure uglified her. Main reason why the whole Xenosaga doujin scene stopped cold after episode II... What the hell were they trying to pull? Who else are they trying to sell this to other than otaku??? I blame the Final Fantasy series...

The version 3, this was an improvement compared to the version 2, but then again, that's not much of a compliment...

between 2 and 3 there really is no helmet difference they both look exactly the same except for the outfit

this is the last one? I knew they cut it down from 6 to a lesser number, but I didn't think it would be THAT low. Ugh, I'm still not even halfway done with episode 2. I'm actually surprised that they're not going to release this on the PS3... aren't they both coming out in 2006-Q4?

Picked up Xenosaga III yesterday, and Im in love. Seriously. I loved the first one, only liked the second one, but the third one............... brought me to tears. THe cutscenes are SOOO good, voice acting well done, battles are fast and intense and fun, and I get to use Miyuki for a while. Yay.And the E.S. battels...........so epic and lengthy and intense as well. I LOVE THIS GAME,. I love Xeno-everything, but this game just reminded me why I love it so much. And yes I love KOS-MOS's new designs. Although I didnt see much of a problem with her second design in the first place....... The only thing I miss is affectionate Shion. Now she's angry, short tempered, serious Shion. I just want her to hug KOS-MOS again damn it...... Anyways I only played for like 5 hours yesterday and Im only in the second dungeon, but I know it will only get better.

I have pre-ordered the limited edition one and waiting for it to reach Singapore before picking it up. So far, it has not reached my place too.... T_T Now I feel like playing when I hear that from you, Truey T_T

I'm also planning to get Xenosaga 3 but I didn't even bother pre-ordering it since I haven't even played 1 and 2 yet, even though I have both games with me.
Lilited Edition of XS 3? I didn't heard about that...does it come with the Artbook thingy?

im in chapter 3.. and theres only like.. prolly 30 minutes worth of gametime (5+ hours of FMV cutscenes.. good god im just watching a game now)
