Okay, so the thread is a month old, but I wanted to have my say! XD

First off: HaKoX is teh win. I haven't had that much fun with a mini-game in a long time. =P

Secondly, the biggest fault I can find with this (at least for the North American release, I can't speak for the Japanese one) is the blatantly obvious lack of blood that you know was originally supposed to be there but editted out. =( Really made a few scenes seem really... off.

Thirdly... Ziggy's swimsuit rules all. ALL!!!

All except for Shion's white shirt. <3 Shion.

Oh, and something I only figured out AFTER getting Ziggy's ultimate weapon, of you only kill one enemy in a battle and then run, you still get the items, money and exp from the one you killed. So if you kill just the flying guy and then run, you don't have to run all the way to the screenchange to fight another. Plus the flying guys have a chance of dropping Evangelists which sell for 300,000G, so equip your large rare item necklace for the killlshot! Best spot for saving up enough money to get all those stat upgrades from the item shop.

I'll defintely second all of TrueAncestor's enthusiasm for XS3. I had little or no hope left for the Xenosaga series after Episode 2... but Episode 3 is one of the best games I've ever had the pleasure of playing. THough.. I can't talk bad about Episode 2 entirely... I mean it did being me the glorious wonder that is GRAVITY BOMB. That one move will keep me amused for years to come.

Although I'm still playing Xenosaga 3, I did get a chance to view the movie spoilers in youtube - when the jap version was released. As the ending of the trilogy, the plot definately goes out with a bang and to that effect I can easily understand why some people will be upset - yeah I have a few favorite chars in there T_T

i totally agree with u, 4 some reason the plot was moving extremely, super, extra fast.....i mean, they could expand the plot more if they want, and i dun think they hv a budget problem or sumthin like that...

I think its just cuz they had too much info to pack into one last disc so they rushed it like crazy!! XD tho I think they did a good job with it!! ^^

I still think they should have made it at least 4 so that the team would have enough time to expand plots answer tons of quetions and such Very Happy

so, r u saying that the team only allowed to make 3 episodes? what a shame, no wonder the plot was moving too fast....

Well considering this, how many rpgs out there have more than 3 eps which have an active epic plot revolving around all of them. Taking into account how many people will wait for more than several years for the next release?
Not a lot compared to the amount for a single epic rpg.
We might make an exception for the titles that will remain japan only but out there outside the country.
