Not sure, that's why i'm asking him. Our teacher shared it to us when he went home with his Vietnamese friend to his home in Vietnam. And gosh was he surprised at the ritual. Cuz my teach's a Filipino and we usually hug and greet a person when he left home for such a long time.
I guess your parents are not that traditional...but it's not bad. it's kinda cool cuz they know how our generation runs. |

once again, i would love to go to canada
well i don't know if traditional vietnamese does it, but my dad sure does, not my mom though, she doesn't care what i do as long as i stay alive, she loves her baby boi, they both are first generation vietnamese, since they came over to america about 27 years ago,
my mom is crazy though, she told me to move to vietnam and hurd oxen and cows and other animals, since i skip alot of school, and she was dead serious _________________ [IMG:392:356:02d7b2c081]http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d122/V16Dragon/kenshin.jpg[/img:02d7b2c081]

since you put it that way, i'm sure your mom will help his "baby boi" pass on stage.
haha...my mom's like that, too, before. she would tell me to open up a small business where i sell eggs and other grocery items. i mean WTF?!? i can do better than that...she expects so little from me.
now, my problem is they expect so big from me. my dad even forced me to take up nursing cuz it gets me plenty of cash abroad. |

yea my parents don't expect much out of me right now, the way they see it if i can graduate from high school thats a big step
i wrote the card the day i came back, cause one of my teachers made it a an assignment, even though when the lady recieves the card she can't do anything about it since i didn't say anything offensive, just alot of sarcasm _________________ [IMG:392:356:02d7b2c081]http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d122/V16Dragon/kenshin.jpg[/img:02d7b2c081]

Um... did it ever occur to you to question why you're suspended..?
Or did the following happen:
Principle: You're suspended for the next 7 days!
You: Yes sir, see you next week!
I'm under the general impression you've done something more than just not listening to some lady... but if that's really all you did, and if you feel like making a big deal out of it, contact the media, not sure if there's an American equiv., but I can picture them showing something like this on A Current Affairs or Today Tonight here in Australia...
Alternatively, talk your parents into doing something.
Or lodge a complaint.
OR, finally, suck it up. |

find your student handbook and see what the appeals process is. You should at least get to plead your case in front of the superintendant. Although, if you already served the suspension, there might not be anything more you can do. If you want to walk down the aisle on graudation day, you could at least fight for that.
we had a lawyer talk to our current events class. He says that an education is treated like a tangible object that can be fought in court for. It's the same as someone stealing your car. However, like I said, if you already served, you might be sh*t outta luck. Try to get your parents to plead it, at least get it taken off of your permanent record ("expunged" is the legal term). _________________
