Cartoon Network Bad for Anime?

well i dislike how they take forever to show ep. like for samurai champloo (even though it's like all out of dvd) and inuyasha...like they show re runs for how long!?! but i guess it's to be expected...which network doesn't do that with their shows/series?

i also hate how they change the scheduals of when and wat anime they show....member on adult swim they used to show sat. nights show on thurs. so ppl can catch up..now they just messed up the whole scheduel and they continue to do it..so it's hard to keep track.

but is cartoon network considered bad for anime? i don't think so...i continue to watch anime on their network cuz it's like the best show to catch anime on thus far..so i will support them~!

i think cartoon network showing anime has its pro's and cons. the pros are that more people can be introduced to anime. its a good way to draw more fans into anime. the con is that alot of the voice acting is pretty bad but there are some anime that had decent voice actors such as cowboy bebop.

yes sometimes its bad but overall its great
for the people that have never seen s.cry.ed and naruto cartoon network now gives the people the chance to see if they will like these animes
if CN never showed naruto and samurai champloo and s.cry.ed i would have never been able to determine whether they were good or not honestly i would have most likely never of watched them
yeah sometime the voices r off key but hell its not CN fault they just buy the ability to show it
not all animes in english sound great but it goes both ways cuz sometimes the animes in japanese annoy the hell out of me alot of the time the male character has a really high annoying voice when it should be low come on would you be scared of some guy that sound like a sissy

not only cowboy bebop had good voices but i also like
samurai champloo+rurouni kenshin+dbz+theres more i just cant think of them right now

yea see cartoon network gives new audience members a chance to experience and watch anime. many ppl don't know where to get anime..or that it even exists. but cartoon network gives ppl that opportunity. so i believe cartoon network, majority wise, is good for anime~!

dude cartoon network kills the voice and they take off all the bloody scenes. NO blood at all. plus they do reruns over and over again so the anime never finsihes.

well i dunno about the blood part...on adult swim they still have blood and stuff..and even on toonami they decided to show the dbz uncut ep. with the blood and cut out all that "sensored" sh**~!

Cartoon Net is the bane of all that is anime...many a anime i have seen get ruined for the catering of little childeren soley for the purpos of ratings....it makes me cry inside when i see a 7yrold walking around dressed up like goku from DBZ....of course it would scare me more to see a 25 yr old guy dressed up like him but thats besides the point

The only problem I have with dubs is how much they censor and some of the voice acting. I wish all the anime was only on adult swim.

I think CN is bad at recruiting voice actors, in turn down-grading anime, sometimes making them sound like kids stuff, when they aren't, CN isn't a bad network but they need to but their butts and find better matches. Another thing I don't like is cutting the anime, i think japanese commercials are shorter than american, so, SCRYED for example, is cut shorter Sad

I think ppl are getting confused....it isnt CN that employes the voice actors....its another company...that CN of FoxKids buy the rights to show from.....

CN is great for anime.....I mean...think about it...anime is still rare in the West...even on Cable/Satalite....and has a very negative view by many (for kids, sex, violance)....but CN has persisted to show'em anyways....be thankfull...

....yeah, yeah..I know the voices suk...the animes are often warped/super edited....but we still have far to go until anime becomes realy mainstream..(if it ever does).....CN is just a stepping stone for this....

cartoonnetwork is horrible for anime other than adult swim...
they mess up the story for example in NARUTO whenever naruto uses sexy no justsu the people should be flying with nosebleeds but they only fly and that makes you think wtf???

Why is it that people hated CN so much? If you really hated it that bad, why not jsut stop watching it?
I personnally hate dubbed anime, but CN is far from a badly dubbed anime..trust me on that. I guess it's also the fact that I really don't care about blood and gore, so I kind of enjoy kiddy stuff as well as others. I have to admit that their scheduling is kind of inconvenient, and I absolutely hated Yugi Oh of any version (because the anime version is done at such low quality), but I just can't see why CN is so bad. They take a really long time to get through an anime, yes..but so what? Their selection is a little kiddy out of Adult Swim--IT'S KID'S CHANNEL, DAMMIT!
I don't have a clue what new things they're showing, or even if they have anything new at all, but CN is my little haven in this anime-less land, and until someone find me something better, I can't say that it's bad.
