The most disturbing manga series you've read?

Not necessarily gory, but weird and confusing Twisted Evil

Below are the ones which I like. Needless to say, they are definitely not for kids. Surprised

1. Koroshiya 1 (Ichi the killer) - You can bt the entire series at hawks. There is also a live action movie directed by the (in)famous Takashi Miike. I was actually introduced to the movie before I read the manga. VERY disturbing. The movie is by far the most gory thing I've every seen. Don't believe me? Check the reviews on rottentomatos!

2. Inachu Ping Pong Club - Funny stuff. Mostly toilet humor but extreme to the point of disturbing.

3. MPD Pyscho - The forementioned director Takashi Miike also made some movies with this manga so I knew this one would be trouble. I had read the first 10 volumns. Not for the faint of the heart.

It's not the MOST disturbing I've ever seen, but the FLCL manga was one of ther weirdest reads I've ever picked up.

The most disturbing I've ever read all the way though was a horror comic based on a town haunted by spirals. Yeah, spirals...ok, and if you think I'm crazy, then you try reading a manga that deals with a bouncing corpse chasing after someone and tell me that's not freaky. If anyone know what I'm talking about, let me know.

I think "The Ring" Volume 2 was pretty disturbing. Lots of creepy images.

definitly the most disturbing manga of all time for is "POKEMON", i can't stop having nightmares.

The one I think is most disturbing is Ouke no Monshou, it's super long with about 50 something volume. The plot is so boring and it seem like it been copying the idea of Anatolia Story:
A girl some how being summon back to the strang world of ancient time then being love by everyone including the King. But someone is plotting against her. This time it's not Anatolia, it's Egypt.
The first few volume make me feel that it's going to be an excellent volume but in every volume there have to be some porn, sexual stuff go with it. After volume 8 the plot concentrate on the kidnapping of the girl, from there on there's nothing beside kidnap.That country kidnap then the other country stole away then she escape then kidnap around the world. I can't stand it, because of its content it has been sue alot in Asia.

Freesia - The vengence act is enforced in Japan so criminals are not kept in jail but have to defend themselves against proxies. A proxy is an area where a criminal must stay for the duration of a hunt, or a proxy are the people doing the hunt. I forget the termology :S. Anyways, the people killing the criminals are usually twisted people.

Multiple Personality Detective Psycho - I forget what this is about. Very Happy

Well, not really, but there are lot of gruesome deaths.

hmmm.......most disturbing. that would have to be Hellsing. it is one of the goriest mangas i've ever read. so much blood *shudder* the characters were awesome though.

i really wonder...how disturbing can a manga be?? Movie like "cannibal" which rip off totally every part of a human being is wat i call disturbing =)
