If I'm not mistaken, you are referring to the manga called Uzumaki. While I haven't read it myself (I'm waiting to see if Viz will re-release it in their Signature Line, unflipped), I have heard some creepy things about it. A bath tub scene comes to mind, for some reason...
Anyway, if some of you people are disgusted by types like Hellsing and Pretty Face (wtf!? How is that disturbing!?), then don't even approach types like Berserk, Elfen Lied, and Koroshiya Ichi. The first two are bloody and disturbing enough, they don't come close to Koroshiya Ichi. If you can't take a guy being shot in his ass (that is just one example), then that should be good enough to stay away from this manga. |

Well it is true that Gantz have some distubing points. At first, i didn't like it because it does not give a good impression to the reader in the begining. Second, the chapters are too short. It takes few chapters to finish an event, that is why there are about two hundred something chapters. However, the good thing about this manga is that by the time you read it, it gets real suspensive and i am still waiting for the next chapter because i want to know what happen next. |

what i can find disturbing is not to find a good first impression manga or a good first impression manga that later on does not make sense at all.  |

| Gantz is pretty disturbing to a certain point, but only if you really think about how sickening it would REALLY look like and the concept of it. Otherwise its just images here and there. |

It's not like blood and gore, and it's not all that disturbing, but it really gets you thinking. |
