BR is pretty disturbing on the psycological level,for more parts the movie than the manga but the manga still can pull its own weight on those terms alone.
Gantz I would say is more visually disturbing |

I'm going to have to go with Ichigo 100%. Why? Because when you pay about $4 (350 yen plus tax) for each volume and then you get to the final one (19) and you read what the ending is, you feel incredibly disgusted after that.

the most disturbing comic i've read would have to be  Rebirth.
1-its pretty gory but i really don't mind, just that the gore in it is like the number of people on earth
2-way to long of i flash back, i keep forgeting that its already happened
3-i don't really like manda where there is a lot of betrayal |

| Gantz was fairly disturbing. I read the first chapter, and decided not to continue. Some of the stuff was just too much. |

battle vixons that scared the hell out of me there shirts just kept falling apart God the money the have 2 pay 2 stay clothed. also battle royale and gantz now that was some scary stuff

lol. Well i guess that is true that a lot of people disliked the ending. I liked it and it was because of the climax and ending that i bought them. |

| I would also go with battle royal just becos of all the disgusting scenes which really puts you off the manga. Gantz is also terrible in the scenes but i did live through it :p |

Ichi the killer is most definitely a disturbing manga for the average reader..
but i enjoyed it immensely... found new and more devious ways to inlict pain... 
i think any yaoi themed manga would disturb me more than these so called "gory" ones...

I would definately have to agree with Meg, Xris, and atashi.
ichi is the most disturbing manga series I have ever read. didn't even finish the series. I read the first two chapters and then stoped don't plan on reading any more it.
