The most disturbing manga series you've read?

Slicing body parts, inflicting pain, torture are just some of the ingredients for a disturbing manga. But I think yaoi is a bit disturbig too...

wow now i wanna start checking out all these manga's....wait, i mean all this manga. I got in a random conversation with someone once who out of the blue said that ichi the killer was a bit @@cked up, but ive not yet read any of it.
i too have to say Gantz, all that getting to know someone then BAM SEE YOU LATER is pretty refreshing to me. too much naruto where nobody fights to the death had dulled my lust for life.but im sure theres much wierder out there, so ill go look! (out of healthy interest of course)

erm oh yeah on a slightly different note- to the ichi posts, do you guys know theres a prequel to the movie called '1-Ichi' you probably do, or its allready been said somewhere i missed, but anyways bosh there you go.

Battle Royale was a good read... disturbing at times, but good. You can't help but feel sorry for them ;____; Yet the blood and the fact that children are killing children makes you gasp and say OMG.

I dislike any manga/ anime that has way too "real" violence. Blood doesn't bother me as much as characters getting their tendons snapped off and body parts getting sliced up.

If i was in charge of the world, everyone would die by becoming little sparks of blue light and rising up into the sky, with their body simply disappearing.

gantz, battle royale and basilisk is too gory for me.
I am do not really like to see gory pictures because the image stay in my head for a while, discomforting me abit.
Elfen Lied is also a bit gory but still readable.

but i would have said BLADE OF THE IMMORTAL, but then again, the mangaka's artwork is quite a bit off. No, actually, its great since it comes off as unique and naturally, like it was raw or drawn simply like that.

so, i say GOTH. the artwork there is quite good and not to mention the murder cases they've handled a bit disconcerting and not to mention it included a lot of gore.

I would say Ichi in terms of gore cuz I read Battle Royale and while it was really a messed up that friends where required to kill each other Ichi definately outclasses it in terms of blood shed and fetish references.
Now in terms of just plain disgusting I would have to say (with out dipping into the hentai world) Tropical Citron had lots of weird trippy stuff plus most likely the first (makes me throw up a little) rabbitpedowitchrape Keep On Vibrating gets a close second for it scene with a pig after which they proceeded to make into a pork chop dinner plus others and third so far would be Uncivilized Planet for the depravity of the characters and the creepy appeals to various fetishes
