i liked how they took a different timeline with all the flashbacks
this way ppl who hav read the manga wont b bored cuz they kno wuts coming

Okay, now I know manga purists won't be too happy with this version of I''s either (actually, I don't think they'll ever be happy). However, the story is going along at a pretty pleasant pace for me right now. Episode 4 came out:

I totally forgot about Izumi. When I finally saw her again, however, I thought her voice didn't really fit her character (I was thinking a tad darker in her tone).

im a fan of the manga from a few years back.. i dont really understand such purists, its just that sometimes an anime isnt as good as its manga, and some cases the anime is even better than the original manga(it happens ya know), that's just the way it is. the book isnt always better imo. in this case however the manga is better of course, full story great art and all.

that said, for some manga fans including myself i find this I''s anime quite good and it brings about some feeling of nostalgia. i couldnt ask for a better oav adaptation than this. its much better than the first I''s oav(godforbid i wasted money on that crap dvd), anyways, at least it presents the story quite well.. from a reminisce perspective..

those who havent read the manga i suggest you read it too. if only for the sole purpose of filling in the blanks and in betweens of the story in the anime, as the anime only shows some of the highlights of I''s.

for me however, this anime is the icing on the cake so to speak. something ive been waiting for to happen. tho theres some parts omitted from the story,(like the gay guy wasnt there on a previous ep), the animation quality is quite good. that alone is a major plus for me. the seiyuu, music i think were very good selections.. i could only wish ichigo100% anime turned up as good as this, but we know it was a fail.

two more eps to go, an i think theyve finished with the flashback parts, i wonder how theyll finish this one in two eps, since its already half the story right now.

anime version is too short...comparerd to the manga but at least te anime version is made and i was timelessly waiting for it Razz

I like the storyline a lot, I'm glad I waited for this anime. I wasn't disappointed at all...

I also liked the soundtrack, they conveyed the mood of the scenes that much better... And now that the anime has finished, I'm just replaying the songs over and over... reminding me of how sweet love can turn out in the end. The anime brought tears to my eyes, though from what I can see, nothing can push me to cry.

ahhh so good... so good indeed...

even though i read the manga way back... and already dried out my tearducts the anime still managed to make my eyes sting with that final episode... sooo good...

well they can't help if they can't really stick with the way things go in the manga.. but all of the off shoots are done in good taste.. it gave a good impression of it... i like it... Very Happy

I LOVED I''S... i havent got the chance to read the manga yet, but i imagine it is much better.

One thing I didnt like, and happens in MANY animes.. i HATE IT when the main couple doesn't kiss...
