I's Pure Synopsis and Reviews on Anime-Source

I don't see anything on the site about this. Anyways, the first episode just aired and its subbed already. Hopefully this will follow the manga, unlike the previous disappointing OAV.

yeh i just watched finish the first eposide and the story line is quite similar to the manga so far. Woot finally is here can't wait for the next eposide!!!!

I caught a glimpse of it before coming into work; it looks like it starts just a little bit before the manga, but other than that, it seems very similar.
To answer the other question, I liked the manga, but have yet to finish it. I needed a bit of a break. As the series goes on, the main character becomes less likable in many ways. Now that's just my opinion, and I'm sure I'll be contradicted. He just doesn't seem as kindhearted as Junpei from Ichigo 100%. Still a good series, though.

hope the anime goes little different from the manga. I didn't really like the ending for the manga so i'm hoping it'll be little different from the anime.

The anime smelt of fanservice already even before I watched it, and I was right...Although I haven't seen the manga, let's just say that I hope the storyline would prove to be smooth and logical. ^^

Well, I've never watched the first I's anime, but given that it's only two episodes, it's probably not really that good.

In regards to this anime, it's run is going to be six episodes. How are they going to fit 15 volumes of manga into six episodes without totally compromising it? I'm sort of lost on that.

The first episode was actually quite nice though. It went through the first volume of the manga quite nicely, showing the material that counted in the manga.

Still wondering about the six episode format... sigh...

the 1st ep. is great the animation was fine and watching it makes me read the manga one more time... so 6 eps. i wonder if they all get the storyline from the manga...

great first episode. i think it did an awesome job of condensing alot of manga while still hangin on to some of the key elements, like how this guy is always acting the opposite of how he feels, etc. I thought the art and music were good, and the episode makes me want to go back and re-read the manga which i think is my favorite of all time.

i hope that instead of trying to squeeze the whole manga into 6 episodes (which would be nearly 3 volumes per episode) they just find a natural break earlier in the story and end the anime there.

after the trash that the ichigo anime was and what i hear was a terrible first try at making the anime of I''s, Im glad to see a successful translation of this great story, hope it keeps up.

judging from the first episode, they are trying to cover the timeline twice as fast. they started out from the christmas scene with long "flashbacks" of the beginning. my guess is that they will keep slowly showing the christmas scene while the beginning catches up. very nice idea, seeing that most ppl already read the manga and may be impatient.

Well. I downloaded it. Looks nice, and at least an I"s anime is following the manga!!
I has high hopes on this!
Maybe they gonna to stop after the Christmas... and leaving a door open for another series of OVAS...
