Kicking the enemies while on the ground ensures that they won't "regenerate" or get back on their feet to attack you again...
camera angles? aiming is done in 3d environments, you'll know when there's an enemy when the Radio starts to emit static and when the character aims it a target. the position of the camera changes depending on the place and situation, the L2 button places the camera behind your character to see better. The camera can also be frustrating at times.
It can be hard at some times...especially if you play on the hardest difficulty. Melee fights are very useful in the SH series...RE relies too much on weapons which can be a huge problem if you run out of ammunition. It's where the SH series shines the most in my opinion.
Walter Sullivan? wait...does that mean SH4 was first before SH2? can you fill me in on some info's? I just finished SH2 on the easiest setting...it's my rule to first finish things on the lowest setting to get used to the rising difficulty. I guess you can call em a wimp gamer LOL. And I always walk...I only use he run button when in the open streets not on the buildings since I rely too much on the radio to warn me. _________________

Whoa I check out at gamefaqs and they said to get 10 stars is beat the game within 2 hours, no save, kill almost all creatures in apartment and got more than 50 over 52 notes..
|
Yeah it's really difficult. I haven't been able to do this yet myself...
SH4 is nothing like RE4. RE4 is more action based, with more guns and more action. As to where SH4 makes you use stragety to fight your opponents. You can run away(but they'll always chase you) or fight them with your melee weapons(my favorite is the axe).
The camera view is a normal third person perspective view you'd normally have when you play any action/survival game, but it can get really annoying during certain areas.

I really don't know the timeline, so I'm not sure if SH4 takes place before SH2.
I do know that SH4's history is very, very deep. When you first play, you might not get the whole story. So it's good to play multiple times.
Also, it's very good to pick up every single note in the game to understand why these things happen.
I forgot to mention...
SH4 takes place in an entirely different city, not in Silent Hill. I bet you're like, what's the point of calling it Silent Hill then?
Well, many of the "dream world" areas Henry travels to are in Silent Hill.
He goes to an orphanage that's in Silent Hill and a graveyard. I can't remember the off the top of my head if there's anyother areas.
I'll come back to fill you in more... gotta do something right now. <.< _________________ [IMG:432:143:0a18b764ae]http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c315/Reiswinds/betternastysigD.gif[/img:0a18b764ae] |

one thing that bothers me...why did the Pyramid Heads commit suicide?
I don't get it.
The ending I got was "Water" ending....now to play it again for the other endings. _________________

Hmm... I didn't understand that much about the Pyramid heads either.
Probably they were sacrificing themselves for the dark god. _________________ [IMG:432:143:0a18b764ae]http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c315/Reiswinds/betternastysigD.gif[/img:0a18b764ae] |

It's probably gonna be pretty rare for you to find it since its kinda old now.
And yes it's brutal, heads don't pop off but beating a creature with a steel pipe, don't you find that gory? _________________ [IMG:432:143:0a18b764ae]http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c315/Reiswinds/betternastysigD.gif[/img:0a18b764ae] |

I bought mine via Amazon.com...since I can't find it anymore on store shelves or Gamestop. At least it's cheap...kinda.(+shipping)
the Chainsaw? SH1 and SH2 = Just finish the game once. I didn't like how the Chainsaw animation on SH2...it's slow...SH1's chainsaw, just rev it up and walk towards an enemy and it's hamburger...I guess Konami noticed that it made the game easier...LOL.
SH3 doesn't have a Chainsaw but you get a Submachine Gun and Light Saber...and the funny Sexy Beam or Heather Beam. that's also my first time to saw the UFO ending LOL. _________________

SH1 took place somewhere in Silent Hill.
SH3 has some connection from SH1's main protagonist, Harry Mason.
From Silent Hill 1 thru 3...they all took place in the town of Silent Hill, but different locations. but, Sh3 lets you visit some of SH2's places like the Bar. Sh3's main Protagonist is a Girl...a big change and less firearms and a lot less scarier. _________________

Silent Hill 3's story revolves around Heather.
Major spoilers ahead...
If you played Silent Hill 1 and got the good ending, after Harry defeats the final boss, he'll receive a child from a woman. This child is Heather, the main character of Silent Hill 3.

they're umm...manifestations of the mind....i can't really remember it all.
Even though they're just manifestations, they can kill your character.
-------------------------------------
FILE 5: MANIFESTATIONS OF DELUSIONS
-------------------------------------
Location: Library reserve, Alternate School.
CHAPTER 3
MANIFESTATIONS OF DELUSIONS
...Poltergeists are among these.
Negative emotions, like fear, worry, or stress manifest
Into external energy with physical effects.
Nightmares have, in some cases, been shown to trigger
Them. However one such phenomena doesn't appear
To happen to just anyone. Although it's
Not clear why, adolescents, especially girls,
Are prone to such occurrences.
==============================
And it also has something to so with Cultists that seem to worship the Demon or trying to give birth to a "God".
the first Silent Hill If I remember it correctly, explained everthing about this kind of phenomena that envelopes the entire town. _________________
