I think he meant that once you pick up the Doll that he left. Your Treasure or maybe the thing that you put your items on becomes Haunted.

I had no idea myself since I don't have it

Lol, this is what I meant.

When you pick up that doll, it's pretty much a useless item. It has no value and is not really important to the game, other than the fact that doll used to belong to Eileen when she was a kid. She gave it to Walter in the subway.

SINCE the doll is useless, you'll have to put it in your storage box in your apartment. In the later half of the game, when your apartment becomes haunted, one of the hauntings will appear on the storage box because of the doll.

This means: Doll = Possessed Evil Doll = Storage Box = Haunted Storage Box

You can avoid having your storage box haunted by not picking up the doll at all. Therefore, saving your Holy Candle item for other hauntings in the your apartment.

Well, for one... you can't use it to store items or take items out.

Two, you get damaged moderately by standing near it.

She gave it to her because she was a naive little girl. You know how children are... I think she felt bad for him.

His parents abandon him as a baby, the ran off and left him in that apartment. Something drove him to insanity... can't really remember. But, I think he was trying to ressurect a false mother... or dark god using a ritual.

What the big idea his parent lets he alone in apartment and what the hell is about he try to resurect the dark God as his mother....

Anyway the one things I like in SH is kicking the ghost "Victims* if I'm not wrong about 10 times or above.. just to bullies they.

WOW REIS!!...u know so much bout this game...u gonna be a real pro...and bout that freak walter past story....where u get that story??...internet??...and this about silent hill 4 right..that the hero guy stuck in his OWN apartment that lock from inside...(how that happen!!??...)i never beat this YET...this game FREAK me OUT man....
