I'd have to go with Harry, though I kinda feel for Henry(SH4) too.
Harry was a struggling author drawn into Silent Hill because of his adopted child Cheryl. He had to go through the pretty wild things to search for his daughter. As a father, Harry was a good guy at heart. Though, he ends up being used by Dahlia pretty badly. All was good in the end for him though.
I like Henry too, even though he seems completely lost at times(well duh, a huge hole appeared in his bathroom wall... who wouldn't be like, "WTF?!?!?!". The idea of being stuck in your apartment for weeks, and big chains locking your door up, now that's scary. I feel bad for Henry, having to go through those crazy "dream worlds", being haunted, locked in an apartment... that's why I feel for him.
I didn't like James Sunderland because he was shallow and selfish.
He killed his own wife, and all the while believes the illness took her away. He tried to surpress his memory of killing her, and doesn't remember 'til he watches the video in the Hotel in Silent Hill.

I don't know which one because I just play SH4 so I choose him, Henry because even he doesn't know martial art or shooting skill but he has good swing... isn't all SH protagonists does same thing? What I like about him.. maybe he does seem a little bit like Leon from RE4, LoL.... _________________

Hey Aya...
Which world are you up to now? A lot of crazy stuff happens in that game, doesn't it? _________________ [IMG:432:143:0a18b764ae]http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c315/Reiswinds/betternastysigD.gif[/img:0a18b764ae]

Oh hell yes SH4 is harder than SH2.
In SH2, you're graciously given a pistol, shotgun, and hunting rifle. To top it all off, you get the Great Knife, which to me, is like, the coolest weapon.
IN SH4, you're given a measly pistol with little ammo, and magnum, which you can hardly find bullets for. Oh, and the "Victims" never die, they hopelessly chase you through out the game.
It also gets really hectic in SH4. During the later half of the game, when you go through the worlds, you end up being chased by the serial killer Walter Sullivan. He attacks you with various weapons too. He's attacked me with a chainsaw, dual pistols, and even a chainsaw/pistol combo. O.O; Oh, and there's no way of killing him when he's chasing you around.
To me, SH4 is just as psychologically maddening as SH2. I mean, look, the guy is locked inside his apartment without any way out, except a hole in his bathroom wall which leads to hellish ass places.
And your home doesn't even become safe anymore in the next half of the game. It turns into hell, a complete haunted hell.
Oh yeah, Aya... whatever you do in the apartment world... DO NOT PICK UP THE DOLL THAT THE MAN LEAVES BEHIND!!!!
I warned you... _________________ [IMG:432:143:0a18b764ae]http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c315/Reiswinds/betternastysigD.gif[/img:0a18b764ae]

I'd say 8.5 at the most.
And yeah, the apartment is the only save point. Which I think sucks, but adds to the difficulty of the game.
Gotta look for my copy of SH4, I kinda wanna replay it. Hope I didn't let a friend borrow it. That and eat my never ending supply of meat buns... I think we call them sho pow or shu pow in the Philippines. _________________ [IMG:432:143:0a18b764ae]http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c315/Reiswinds/betternastysigD.gif[/img:0a18b764ae]

I see...What's the average time for a first timer to fiinsh SH4? Without running, killing anything in sight, exploration...etc. Since That's what I do from SH1-3 for the first ime LOL.
off topic: Yes...they're called meat buns and Whatever Spelling you want for Sio Pao since they're all practically the same anyway. _________________ PS3 Trophies

Hmm... a speed run? I've never tried one...
But I say probably a good 4-7 hours will get you through the game without exploration. But it's best to know your way around before you attempt a speed run. You're gonna be faced with a lot of item hunting and locked doors in this game. _________________ [IMG:432:143:0a18b764ae]http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c315/Reiswinds/betternastysigD.gif[/img:0a18b764ae]

Aren't ALL SH games like that...it's the Signature of the growing SH series...the feared sound of a Locked Door or Broken Knob. LOL
Item hunting like " I need a Can opener to pen a can" stuff like that? _________________ PS3 Trophies

Something like that.
"I need a minute hand so I can turn the clock."
One I hate the most...
"I need a key for this wooden door... which I can OBVIOUSLY kick open if I had common sense." _________________ [IMG:432:143:0a18b764ae]http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c315/Reiswinds/betternastysigD.gif[/img:0a18b764ae]

I think I stop playing at part some guy chasing me with chainsaw or something.... I almost heart-attack at there... then I play Fatal Frame III and NFS-most wanted and naruto3.. guess need to wait till my guts full back..LoL.
I think I'll give 9.0 for scarier horror game for SH4. _________________

Lol, that's Walter, and you're best friend through out the game. He always runs after you to give you a nice, big hug!
And I hope you didn't pick up the doll he left behind. ~.~ _________________ [IMG:432:143:0a18b764ae]http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c315/Reiswinds/betternastysigD.gif[/img:0a18b764ae]
