KH2 or FF12?

Why must there be a choice.

Final Fantasy XII may not even be released in the Japan till March/ Q2 2006.

While Kingdom Hearts 2 has been released since December 22, 2005 in Japan.

If you go buy american releases then FFXII american release is a long ways off. Kingdom Hearts 2 will end up being released in the states way before Final Fantasy XII. At the moment it is speculated with a March or April US release date.

By the way, I'm also playing Kingdom Hearts 2 at the moment and enjoying every minute of it.

The real question is which one will you buy first, Grandia 3, Rogue Galaxy or FFXII, they'll most likely have similar US release dates.

By the way, Square has always tried not to release their own products at the same quarter, in the same country. That's why Star Ocean 3 took so much time to be released, all because of FFX-2's release schedule. They see this as cutting into their profits, so don't expect a KH2 and FFXII simultaneous US release.

I'm more excited for KH2 to be translated and brought to the states than FF12.

I'll repeat this: Release dates are just speculative. It is just more likely that they will be released within the same quarter as FFXII.

I never cared for the kindom heart series so i have to go with final fantasy 12 plus they have had all this time to work on the game... and ff11 is great minus a few major weak points but im sure they will take there time and do something new and innovative... they have to follow up Advent with something worth loving them.

FF12 of course...... i dun like RPG games except for the Final Fantasy series.

I really like the FF franchise and how they are able to craft really nice stories of love and war, but now after playing through Kingdom Hearts (and Chains of Memories), I've got to side with KH2. I really think that it's cool to see Disney characters in a new life (I have two sisters and so I've grown up with Disney). I'm really not too impressed with FF12's character designs because well we all know that they take some time to get used to. I remember that it took me about half of FF9 to get used to the main character.

If FFXII ends up just as fantastic as FFX was, I'll be satisfied. The only real letdown I've ever had was FF9. Battles were just too annoying to play. Friggin animations took forever.

you get to use different characters now instead of just sora.

its not as kiddy as kh1 either.

Hard to really vote -- I'm awaiting both, as many RPGers are. Some people are turned off by KH's "cuteness", while others are turned off by the direction FF12 is going -- I want them both very badly. KH2 is coming out earlier, so if I did actually vote, it'd probably be for that.

I'm really not interested in Final Fantasy XII at all. After all the delays, the switching of the directors, the changing of completely different tracks, and all that crap... I honestly don't think Final Fantasy XII will be good at all. Right now they're rushing to get it done. That's it. They're focusing much more on Final Fantasy XIII then XII. They've given up on it.

They think it's going to bomb, so they're preparing for it. Actually, after thinking about it during this post it might actually be good because they think it's going to bomb.

Regardless, I'm MUCH more excited about Kingdom Hearts II. I've been anticipating it since I first beat it two years ago. Chain of Memories did very little to tide me over to Kingdom Hearts II. It just made me want it more.
