| I really think other then Gantz and Elfen lied that anime has been going to the more soft side. Not that I dont like comdies and love animes. Its just that time to time I really miss seeing blood and guts in my shows and there is'nt that many new animes that have that straight hardcore gore that I miss. |

| I prefer movies like Kill Bill and A History Of Violence. Anime can't compete with these movies in terms of gore level & blood. Gantz seems conservative relative to them IMO. |

I saw a few epsiodes of Peacemaker that had it's gory moments. Even parts of Ghost in the Shell: Standalone Complex can be a little gross. There's plenty of action in other series as well (Noir, Madlax, Mai-HiME, etc etc etc), but I can't say I've seen much blood and guts.

ive seen lots of blood like in Berserk but never have i seen guts coming out in an anime unless i just forgot

I just finished Peacemaker. Not alot of blood, but some pretty dark stuff.

hmmm if you want bloody gore, then you should try Blood+ but the one iam anticipating this 2006 is "Fate/Stay Night"
