Cross Over

I started to read this one and Suzuka at the same time and i got confused when i was switching the tow back and forth and reading another manga at the same time, as both manga start off similar going to live at an aunts place that happens to have hot springs...and then later i found out it was done by the same manga-ka, thats why the characters look so similar.

Anyway, i really like Crossover, the arts good and i'm predicting the character developements going to be really good in future chapters...and i just love basketball. THis manga came at a really good time, i just finished re-watching the slam dunk anime so im really into basketball anime/manga at the moment.

Just wonder....do you guys notice?

In Suzuka - chapter 36 page 99 - Miki talks to Suzuka about some girls that are there to cheer for the National Basketball Final.

Suzuka: "Their bodies are gorgeous, those people…”
Miki: “Ah, they are from school called SAINT something… They are here to cheer for the National Basketball FINAL…”

If the translation was done properly, my questions are:

Could it be that SAINT SOMETHING = ST MARIANNU?
Could it be that the author of the both manga is trying to relate them in some way?
If I am right the other finalist would be Fujiwara Academy? And will those girls and the kiss episode mention in Suzuka appear in future chapters of Cross Over?
Am I speculating too much? Very Happy

If I was the manga-ka I would love to joke with the readers… Twisted Evil

Cant compare it with slamdunk though only it just have the same sport type but the story is more interesting on slamdunk^^

Well with what the few chapters I have read for this I would say its a good manga. I'm really into these types of mangas so thats probably the reason why I say its good.

just read the first volume of cross over because i have read all the suzuka translated so far. i like both of these series so far. romance mixed with sports always works good for me

Yea i agree i've read up to chapter 5 and so far cross over has been quite interesting, so far theres not that big of a side story, but thats becuz we are in the early stages of the manga, so the relation between natsuki and mitsuki i think have yet to develop, and maede most likey natsuki's future rival has yet to participate in the storyline. Like i said ..early stages..

as to some others who have mentioned the fact that 7 volumes came out and have read them, where have you read them? i am kind of interested in this manga and seek to read more of it, or mybe its non translated Q_Q that would sux for me, but even if it is o well i got A-S to show pity on ppl like me (ppl who cant read japanese or mandarin)

I like the main character in Cross Over than Suzuka, he seems to have more confident in himself and not indecisive like Suzuka main character.

In Ch. 6 of Cross Over the team's manager is holding another girl. I've seen her picture in the previous chapters as well, i believe her hair is blue. Does anyone know who this girl is?
